We visited for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday on Saturday. There were lots of us but we were all made to feel extremely welcome. Madingley is just a short drive outside of Cambridge and is clearly a very popular destination for locals and visitors alike. This was our first visit here and once inside the bar and dining areas are very nice creating a great atmosphere to dine. The quality and portions of the food however was very good. Service by all of the staff we encountered was also equally very good. Outside to the front is bench seating but to the side and rear some lovely large garden areas again, with plenty of space and seating. The sun was shining so the garden proved to be a fantastic place to spend some time after we had dined. Mains and desserts for our party of 6 was circa £150.00.
