You had a gorgeous view of all the vineyards below you, and Briar Rose itself was covered from the outside with this whimsical type of bush. The original quaint cottage was built in the 1970’s by Disney imagineer Beldon Fields. While working for Disney, Beldon collected bits and pieces of Disney artifacts which made their way into the cottage. Some tiles from Mr. Toads, a rock from Indiana Jones, and a lantern from Haunted Mansion make the grounds so much more special. Beauty aside, the wine tasting is delicious. We started out with a wonderful cracker and homemade cheese kit while we waited on our wine. We got one red wine tasting, and one white wine tasting before ordering a couple extra glasses to enjoy the scenery a bit longer. I cannot recommend Briar Rose enough!
