We did it on 18th May.The shiva linga in Rudranath is face of Shiva of Pancha kedhar. This trek is a tough trek. We have started our trek around 5AM morning from Sagar Village and reached 1st point Pun Bugiyal around 7 and it was moderate hiking till that point. Then we started climbing along the steep trail , the route to Lyuti Bugyal is full with large boulders and loose stone which makes the trek difficult., . Lyuti Bugyal is the last point to collect water bottle and snacs after that there is no food stalls near the temple as well. We had enjoyed Panoramic views of Gopeshwar valley, lush pine forests. Then we started our journey Punar Bugyal and we reached @12 enjoing the beautiful grassland with hills covered in green pastures and strong confluences of distant mountains. Around 2PM we reached our next point Pitradhar, after this till the temple journey was moderate for us along the route we saw snow-capped peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Hathi Parvat and water streams like Panch Ganga.Finally we reached temple around 7.30PM but by that time temple was closed, next morning we woke up early and met our Bhagwan's face.
