There are so many twists and turns but the colour coded posts really helped us out. And then there are the contemplative paddle boarders at dawn on water of glass, not to mention the cold water swimmers in the spring. Another great feature of this campsite is the wonderful staff. They run a great facility and are always happy to serve and chat with a smile. They take considerable pride in the site and go to considerable lengths to maintain it well for the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of their guests. And then there are the amasing campers from all of over the world, camping in every conceivable way, with the diverse community changing daily, including many tent campers walking the West Highland Way. I had a half day visit with my young boys (1 and 3) and we had a great time. We enjoyed the kitchen garden (in late August there were lots of vegetables to spot). We then enjoyed a toddle through the orchard. They had a great selection of lawn games including mini tennis and corn hole. After that we enjoyed the walled flower gardens and woodland walk. There is also a fun woodland playpark of constructed logs to climb over which my 3 year old loved! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to come back on another visit soon.
