The house itself was amazing and we got to go to 3 different floors of the house and definitely worth the visit if you can swing it and have time. I think we had about a dozen people and it took us about 30 mins. The ranger was super knowledgeable and answered all our questions. You do get time to explore the house on your own for a few mins after the ranger is done with their presentation. There is an elevator in the house so the tour should be wheel chair accessible. See my other review for more details about the house. The visitor center has a store if you continue to down the main hall to the back of the building. There is also a basement which has a few exhibits and a theater. The theater film was actually played on a large TV and not a projector. There was seating for maybe 50 people in there. There is an upstairs which has ranger offices but also a small school house exhibit and a room for kids activities like junior ranger. This is a great place for kids to hangout if they don't want to tour the Saxton House or maybe there are not enough tickets for everyone to go together. The kids were able to complete their junior ranger booklets pretty quick and got their badges. We may visit again if we are passing through like we were this time coming back home from Cleveland, OH. We were a little rushed as we weren't originally planning to tour the Saxton House. We are glad we did but that meant we didn't get to watch the film and really read many of the exhibits in the visitor center. I think about 30 mins to see all the exhibits. I did not ask how long the film was. This was definitely worth the first visit.
