On the more northern side when you first turn off of Highway 27, there is a small parking area. They have some swing sets, I think see saw and a dome monkey bars. They have a nice pavilion in the middle of the park and they have a stage area where they have bench seating. There is a couple of historic buildings in the park. If you take the roads around the park you come to an very nice play area that have slides, tunnels, monkey bars, see saws, couple of other things to play on and a rock climbing wall. Beside is a swing set area with about 6 or more swings, they even put down soft like ground cover, cork like so if a child falls off the swing they won't get as hurt. There are several metal covered areas where they have picnic tables. They can be rented out for events as some of the buildings can. I think they have maybe 2 or 3 different buildings with bathrooms that I believe are open to the public. So if you are visiting the area, have children or want a nice park to hang out at then this is a great place. Sometimes the picnic areas are rented for parties or other events but the park is usually still open. As it is open to the public there are times that the bathrooms might not be in the best conditions or the park might have trash throughout. However, they usually clean it up on a regular basis which is why I love bringing my daughter here and sometimes the local children after a field trip come here for their lunch.
