ヨーロッパにおける最も古い橋のひとつ、ということだが、実際には最近の火災により大半が焼けてしまい、再建された部分が殆どとのこと。それでもなお、残存部分やその周辺の雰囲気と相まって深い歴史を感じさせる。

最初に来てからもう４０年近く経ってしまった。一度建て替えたという事らしいが、相変わらず世界遺産の街にふさわしい趣があります。橋の中の支柱の天井部分には、物語が絵に描かれていますが、さすがに分かりませんでした。きしみ音もなく、素晴らしい建築です。

ユニークな博物館です。F1カーのタイヤ交換体験など子供達を楽しませる工夫が沢山あります。子供たちが笑顔で楽しんでいる姿を見ていると、こちらまで楽しくなります。鉄道なら登山鉄道とかスイスの有名な電気機関車クロコダイルとか、スイス関連の展示が充実しています。同じ敷地内にプラネタリウムやスイスチョコレート・アドベンチャーというライド型アトラクションなどもあります。 Day Passを購入すれば全ての施設に入場できますが、62CHFとちょっとお高いです。博物館とスイスチョコレート・アドベンチャーなら35+18CHFで入場できます。
