Few flaws:- toilets cost (everywhere) with a bunch of kids and having a pregnant wife that was not cheap. We had a free parking voucher, a short walk up the hill towards Captain Cooks statue. The breakfast in the room was delicious, delightful and beautifully served in an open hamper. The day before we had eaten breakfast in the restaurant, which incurred a £5 per head fee. Sadly the kippers on that occasion were disappointing, but the evening meal fish and chips were tremendous! We had been to a nearby restaurant the night before, but hadn't been able to partake, due to the fish being cooked in traditional beef dripping. The restaurant bar area has a wonderful feel. I can highly recommend the Whitby Prince of Darkness gin. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you!
