中にはBob Marleyの孫がいた。色々な物が置いてあり、ファンなら感動だと思う。壁面にも私は感動した。血痕もあった。全体的にラスターカラーだった。近くにはレコーディングスタジオもあり、実際の歌手にも会えた。日本では無名。Bob Marleyの銅像から少し離れている。マリファナをしてる人も多く、売ろうとするが、この人たちに関しては無視をしていたらいい。お巡りさんも巡回している。

It's a very interesting place to visit. Every Jamaican should at least see this place once, just to see the creations of various Jamaican artists. My only wish is that they should include more works from the rastafarian community as well as recent works from young up and coming artists. But aside from that, this place is great. A beautiful place to spend an afternoon. With enormous Beautiful exotic trees and curated gardens and lawns with gazebos and shaded places for picnics. The Chinese garden is especially impressive. I will say it was really cool to see this place. I was a bit disappointed however as there seems to be so much more that could be done to enhance the experience.
There is a water feature at the entrance that was not working when I got there.
There were also other pools that were just stagnant water.
Beyond those negatives, there is a variety of plants and trees to view.

This is a very nice park. It was decorated with holiday decorations and fully staffed. The walk trail needs correction but overall this would be a great place to walk/jog/run. They even have a workout section that is open early mornings. Luckily I stayed in the area so I was able to pass through a few times. I also saw peaceful places you could sit and enjoy the day. I recently stopped at Emancipation Park on Labour Day and absolutely loved this small yet relaxing space! A sound-check crew was busy preparing for a gospel concert later that evening, which added to the park’s lively atmosphere. The park is beautifully maintained, with a lovely balance of trees, flowers, and shrubs, enhancing its natural charm.
One main point of interest that caught my attention was the breezeway, where I admired the seven National Heroes: Nanny of the Maroons, Paul Bogle, George William Gordon, Samuel Sharpe, Marcus Garvey, Alexander Bustamante, and Norman Manley. Each head monument has an engraved introduction that provides insight into their significant contributions.

I visited Emancipation Park recently and honestly, it’s one of the nicest spots in Kingston. The place is so peaceful and beautifully maintained—perfect for walking, jogging, or just relaxing on the lawns. Well kept lawn/garden, very clean with lots of mature trees to keep you cool if you decide to relax under one of the many trees. It would be better if there were multiple entries as for those with mobility limitation it's challenging to walk around the park after parking to gain entry.

The culture yard is literally 5 rooms and a yard. The entrance fee is 20$ US and we didn't get a receipt.

This tour was pure comedy. We did the basic $20 tour. Black & Proud A.K.A. Mr. Johnson is hilarious. He was under the influence while giving our tour. He basically read the signs in the room and threw in an occassional song for entertainment. He invited me to sit on Bob Marley's bed while telling a story of a lady getting pregnant by Bob's ghost. I'm a scary indivual and not once did I feel threatened in this area. I even walked a bit to capture the wall art. The scoops never disappoint ‼️Just huge and worth the wait....The bakery section however lacked efficiency in their customer service during this visit. An up and coming museum on the great Peter Tosh. A self-guided tour. It’s small with a few rooms. It’s mostly reading a lot of artifacts. Not kid kid-friendly as there are not really any interactive things to do to engage a child’s interest . An interesting few artefacts from Peter Tosh’s life but very poor value for money (2500 JMD/20 USD) for a self guided tour of two small rooms. Were watched by a security guard (who spent most of our 20 mins there on his phone), which felt quite uncomfortable. There is still a dozen tables you can sit at after you eat, but most people took the food to go. My experience at the IOJ was quite enlightening. I enjoyed the tour especially having gotten the chance to see the artifacts on display (the model of Jamaica). I'm highly disappointed at this museum, I brought my family here to educate them on the history of Jamaica and was hit with ridiculous prices just to enter. Breathtaking experience learning about Jamaican and Caribbean history. Tour took about 1.5 hours and they are still adding new sections and exhibits. I had a few misconceptions cleared up and appreciated the team for their professionalism and courteousness.

Had a really disappointing tour of the National Museum in which the tour guide seemed to not know much about the exhibitions or Jamaican history. She also gave contradictory information about different displays. I think she was not the official tour guide but I wish she communicated this because we would have been fine walking around by ourselves reading.

And it was awesome, first of all the security guy welcome us really nicely, then the lady who showed us the first part was so lovely and knowledged she will explain everything legend and history of Jamaica and she is used to talk to kids as well which can be nice if you have younger one.
