Please get these fixed asap AND the last two times(including today) that we visited, we were charged for a 4-5 hour stay both times despite being there less than 2 hours.. at the most we could have stayed over the 2 hour mark one of those times but the person driving me is a support worker and we only have 3 hour appointments so it makes no sense to be charged 4-5 hours both times (especially today, we went to fyshwick in that 3 hour shift before going to south.point Tuggeranong)!! Thats an $8.50 charge both times but since its a support worker appointment that has been presheduled we havent had time left (in our 3 hour time frame!) to stop and actually realise and work this out. We went to the very top level carpark both times, so perhaps the top level card scanner is messed up or something...theres literally no reason for us to be charged for a 4-5 hour stay! There are quite a few stores with isles too close together so wheelchair and other mobility aid users cannot access some shops ('typo' for example has not considered accessibility as well as most cheap stores, or “two dollar shops"). Signage could DEFINITELY be improved. I dont think they have store finder machines so it feels like aimlessly trying to find things. It can be a little confusing to find the toilets(especially if youre in a hurry), but also i cannot confidently say how many disabled toilets are available, i know of 1 for the entire 2 levels of shopping centre. Had to race to the closest loo today which was only possible because im ambulatory so was able to leave my walking aid outside the toilet stall (but absolutely would have rathered a disabled toilet with space for my things and not having to just trust strangers..). They have been gradually taking away the seating options for many years and now theres minimal seating options spread out quite far in the shop, with some areas the seating option is in a busy walkway and is hardly a seat (more like a curvy plank of wood which also makes it less seating options because the curves cut out specific spots compared to a bench) and in doing so there also seems to be less and less bins aswell!! The underground carpark needs to be repainted, the new signage is conflicting to the old semi faded painted road markings so many people are unsure if theyre going up the wrong ways (and obviously plenty of people dont even care).. Its become a bit of a maze down there which can be difficult to navigate when its busy. Since becoming south point i think this shop is getting worse and worse unfortunately. More and more empty stores or ones closing down. Little to no seating in areas and minimal bins to accompany this which seems to have resulted in more people dumping their trash on store shelves...
