Such a beautiful setting and a intimate dining experience. Although a small menu for mains, the starters are varied. I tried the escargot which our waiter recommended - who knew snails tasted so good! My boyfriend had the half lobster and I tried rump steak, also for the first time. Lovely town, great beach and the historic and iconic Cobb. Lovely town to swim out to the swim line buoys. Walk up towards Charmouth and fossil hunt but watch the tides else the RNLI will need to launch. Lime Regis Brewery is well worth a visit in the Mill for a cool beer on a hot summers day. Been coming here for twenty odd years so have seen how much it has changed for the better. The LR festival held first week in August is amazing and has so many activities for children and adults alike to experience. Good cafes, restaurants and shop but watch the sea gulls as if you bring food in the beach they will bomb you. The harbour sandy beach is dog free thankfully during the summer months and it does get very busy particularly on weekends. Parking particularly on the cliff top overlooking the gardens is a bit steep ( excuse the pun) and has risen from £2 to £15.90 per day over the years we’ve been coming, however it’s always full by 12 noon on sunny days. A lovely place to visit.
