I noted that, on a couple of occasions, the main character spotlight was slow to respond, leaving the character partially and briefly in the dark. The acting was surperb, songs, vocals, tones, and harmonies were excellent, and choreography was on point!. The costumes were impressive and true to the character. The excitement and enthusiasm was very infectious, and the humor timing was right on cue. Overall, it was one of the productions I've enjoyed the most in recent memory. Tickets for the 2025 season are available now, so don't miss out on these talented folks! As usual, no live photography was allowed, so pics are from MMT promotional material. NOTE: I understand the need for an online program to cut costs, etc, but the link to the program should be available on the back of every other seat. There were a few cars in the parking lot when we arrived. We wanted to take the Roanoke River Trail which is adjacent to the Overlook. It's a quick walk down the trail which turns from gravel to dirt. There are timber stairs later on but with some water erosion they aren't the best condition either. Those with mobility issues should forego this hike. We did get to see a small snake on the trail while we were hiking and you get to see the underside of the bridge as well. It's very picturesque when we visited in late fall. When you get to the river there are a few paths that lead you out onto the rocks. It does say it's dangerous to climb on the rocks. We didn't venture out too far but got to take int he unique landscape. The water level was low but there was a lot of garbage and debris around. I think it was leftover from Hurricane Helene a month before. You could see how high the water level had been. There was a group of folks much further up the river closer to the dam and in the middle of the river that we really couldn't make out. But other than that we didn't see anyone else until we were heading back out on the trail. Well worth a visit if just to stretch the legs out. I'd classify the trail as easy to moderate.
