Shortly after our arrival a group of 14 (all male) arrived and the rest of the evening was filled with foul language and shouting making what could have been a great evening quite a let down. You get the same fantastic views from Jurassic Rocks Cafe! The food is cheap frozen supermarket food. You will be served exactly what you order, plonked on a plate with no side salad or garnish. We had to wait more than 20 minutes for our vegetable burgers (predominantly made of smash style potato) to arrive. If you want something on the side you can choose chips or chips! The staff are unfriendly. This cafe has absolutely no regard for the environment; they still have plastic straws, plastic sachets of sauce (20p each!) and no recycling bins. The worst most miserable but expensive cream tea we have ever had and a miserable cup of tea instead of a pot. Had to ask twice for a cup of hot water which was given eventually very begrudgingly. A young lad came round to take the sun umbrellas (a booling hot day)down even though they had another 45 minutes till closing as if they were trying to get rid of or put new customers off. Sea scape cafe is awful though, lady was uninterested and poor service, like i was a burden. She pointed at drinks when i asked what drinks are available. It cost just under £30 for 3 breakfast baps with drinks which is well over priced. The baps was just cheap bacon and sausages and ive been to many local cafes in Weymouth who are using good quality locally sourced meats. My advice is dont bother and go elswhere, do not get caught out thinking its the same as Green Hill Gardens, this is surviving due to location only. It leaves a very sour taste as we do visit Weymouth often on Holiday. I definatley wont be using this cage again.
