The road to the “Tamoka Outpost” is paved. There you will find all your camping needs, kayak rentals, snacks and drinks. They even have their own beer on tap. This is one of our favorite parks in FL. You would never know that shopping and dining are less than15 minutes away.

There is old stained carpet through out the building and poor use of space for sitting in bowlers circles let alone spectators. My biggest complaint is the poor approach up keep. They are old wooded approaches that need desperately to be sanded and treated. Visibly you can see the buildup of wear and tear that created a safety issue when trying to slide. The carpet throughout the house does not help the approach issues either. The center should at a minimum fix approaches. Then pull out carpet and replace with a laminate that can be cleaned easier when people spill drinks. Plus it will look nicer. Also replace the big clunky bench seats with a tables and chairs.
