Normally I would give a place a second try before forming an opinion but as a New Yorker from Hell’s Kitchen with some of the toughest restaurant competition in the United States who has eaten at many fine Moroccan restaurants (the best ones are in Paris I would say) this is just bad. The chicken they brought us was quickly sauce pan cooked, un-marinated lazy and wrong. The tagine pot they brought it in was even cold. The chicken was tough and disappointing…what’s worse is when we asked the waitress to ask the chef how it made it he lied and said he made it in the tagine pot. I found it very insulting that he thought we wouldn’t know better…you should never scam your customers to save a bit of time in the kitchen.
