Also much like everywhere in India the photos online make it look much better than it actually is and very small. I think for the price point you expect more functionality out of the room including a working TV & some more amenities such as bottled water and coffee/tea. They provide water jugs in the communal area however India is known for imitation water etc so I know most travellers wouldn’t use that. インド1周バイク旅中に1泊しました。家族で運営されてるようで、アットホームな雰囲気でとても快適に過ごせました。また、バイクを監視カメラがある建物正面に止めさせてくれたり、空きがあるとの事でドミトリーの料金で個室に泊めさせてくれました。1泊しかできなかったのが勿体なかったかもしれません。

The wife thought she’d booked an AC room but was told it’s a non AC. Didn’t fancy a change but the room allocated was nothing but a feeling of staying in a servants quarter. The room was dark and the floor tiles were shady with dirty marks. The ceiling made you feel it was damp and the damaged ceiling in the bath made you feel it would fall off any minute. The windows in the room were old and the water air coolant had a large ventilated gap that gave you a feeling of your privacy being invaded with the noise when turned on had a high decibel sound that could damage your ears. The TV didn’t work and on request was told Tata-Sky was not recharge which was pathetic in other-word take it or leave it. Booking with Agoda gives me a cautious warning not to book with them for the future. The guest house was family driven and I always felt that I was watched for my every moves within the premise including nosiness and was glad I wasn’t around in the hotel until late hours of the evening. WiFi was fine though I would recommend the (junior) owner to have some customer service training as they need to learn you’re a service industry and your behaviour is your brand. So overall rating would be 1️⃣ and I must add this being generous. It’s not close to the station and will need a tuk-tuk to move around.
