Room size is similar to a capsule room for 2 pax with 2 single mattessss side by side for the most expensive sunset front facing tube i stayed in and ists with share bath/toilets. There are other cheaper options for other tube with different facing with ensuite or shared bath/toilets. My tube 5 room was clean with beautiful sunsetting & moonsetting (if you stay up late enough to catch it) view. Pillows were too soft & flat for me. Same for the mattresses were pretty flat unfortunately. Toilet are well size for toilet + shower + washbasin combi in each cubicle, considered clean enough for sea front stay. What very much surprised me is there are no mosquitoes or lizardz in the toilets or trap in the rooms. Cant be helped for outdoor, i do feel the place is well maintained and the Mascot dog, Suzi, helped alot. Tapaz restaurant offers very tasty tapaz food! There is vegetarian dishes too. However, when we arrived there was no one to greet us. We only saw nadia for about 10mins on our second day and then again on our last day. She seems like a nice person but just very disorganised. On hostelword it said a free breakfast was included however for our first 2 mornings nadia was not there and there was no breakfast. She had told us she would leave stuff in a cupboard for breakfast but there was only a few jars of jam and nothing else. On our last morning we left the hostel at 9:30am to get our own breakfast in town as all that was provided for the breakfast was 5 slices of bread, 4 of which were end pieces. When we returned 15 minutes before we had to leave Nadia told us we could only pay in cash, which for 3 people for 3 nights was a lot (we had not been made aware of this before). Luckily we managed to pay her but that left us with no cash. The room was ok but the floor was so thin that whenever anyway walked around or even rolled over in bed the whole floor shook. Lots of the cats were in very poor condition and in desperate need of medical attention which was sad to see. This is all such a shame as the location and majority of the hostel was nice.

There was 2 of us girls and absolutely loved staying here and can't recommend it enough. Nadia the lovely owner and host of the property was so accommodating and welcoming. They have a kichen area with 2 fridges and a cold/hot water tank which guests can use and there's wash machine if you need your laundry done.
