My friend and I each ordered a glass of wine, the fried calamari, the potato thyme gnocchi, and the lobster alla vodka. To make a long story sort of short, it was just terrible. The food was terrible, the only thing that was actually good was the bottled wine and the bread that came with the table. The restaurant is small, not crowded, and there were many old people there. That isn’t a problem but could tell it was a type of place that only “regulars” went to. The ceiling was DISGUSTING, my friends wine came dripping down the glass and stained the table, the water bottle had some sort of yucky black substance, the food tasted nothing like the description, and my friend’s gnocchi was completely raw. If the health department came it would more then likely be shut down until improvements were made. The decorations were tacky and out of place for an “Italian” restaurant and could unfortunately tell it was not clean at all which leads me to ask what the kitchen looked like. Never in my life have I ever complained about my food to the sever and we actually requested that the main meals be returned and if it could be taken off. He agreed and removed the main meals so we just paid for our wine and the appetizer. That is the only thing that made the night a little better.
