We've stayed in other "dog friendly" hotels before and this has been the best experience from choice of room to get the dogs outside easily to the staff all wanting to say hello to the dogs. The location is brilliant. There are some external renovations going on currently, so there is scaffolding around some parts of the building. We barely noticed this while we were inside the hotel. We did have an issue with the heating in our room on the first night and so were moved to a different room the next morning, which was a definite upgrade. We also received a substantial discount from our bill and were very pleased with the way in which the manager dealt with this. The manager and all staff are very helpful and friendly. The bar area is lovely and worth a visit even if you are not staying there. We would not stay anywhere else in Brighton.
