Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a wander around the farm shop, we couldn't buy too much unfortunately as we are staying in a hotel. The meat looks lovely, so much choice. We decided to have brunch so we went to the cafe, they were busy inside so we had a choice to sit outside (a little windy summers day) or wait for a table to come free. I had a fab hot chocolate and the hot buttery cinnamon toast, I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much. When it came out It looked so good, two doorstop sized multi grain toast covered in a sweet cinnamon butter. It was delicious, even my other half who wouldn't go near multi grain bread said he would have eaten that. It's definitely for someone with a sweet tooth. My other half had the lighter breakfast which he enjoyed, bacon was his favourite. I would have loved to come back for a Sunday roast or a pizza but I'm at the end of my holiday now so will save it in my maps for next time.

It was such a nice surprise! All members of staff were friendly, accommodating and kind, especially to my young daughter.
