It seems he wasnt so happy with me not ordering a main dish, i simple got 1 started & 1 small plate. I asked to try a wine but wasnt a fan of it so decided not to go for a glass. He then comes back to my table & throws the menu on my table then comes back in few minutes asking in a very arrogant way "do you want to eat something else"! I just hated how i was treated, it made me feel so bad & was a horrible way for me to end my day! Its so sad when such a beautiful place would hire such amateur employees, it seems made me feel i dont want to come back to this spot! Got to say it was worth it a 100%. The food was awesome, service great and pretty nice ambiance. There is outdoor seating area and it is great to sit outside with a cone in winters. The staff is helpful and courteous. We are tricky customers as my wife has dementia and generally dislikes anything in restaurants. We had two Dishes: bread rolls as a starter and a kumara dish with a marmite sauce. Cost was $48. The other dish was very tasty and looked absolutely incredible with onion flowers to decorate.
