I’m assuming due to some unclear communication of our tour arriving and which exact tour we were (they service numerous tours and sometimes simultaneously). However, myself and other patrons did notice on the counter in front of us a FaceTime conversation taking placing between BAM and another young man. Another server came over, introduced himself and began to start getting us set up. A few minutes later BAM began to take over the tour (multitasking on his FaceTime call) and started grabbing a few wines and sample cups to set out. He did eventually end his FaceTime call, but a little too late on the professionalism. Now I do have a sense of humor and enjoy a little banter amongst strangers. But apparently that’s not how BAM likes to conduct his tours. If I asked a question regarding a cider or wine he would respond “Now I already answered that”. There was a small line so we decided to check out the merchandise and have a look around. After seeing the front room we tried to excuse ourselves around some folks waiting their turn for a tasting. As we were making our way around them, a woman at the tasting counter immediately scolded me for trying to cut the line. I explained that we were not trying to take anyone’s place in line and that we just wanted to have a look around until it was our turn to purchase what we came there for. It is located right on the parkway within walking distance to the island as well as many restaurants. They do charge a $100 deposit on top of your nightly rate during your stay.
