And keep in mind that right below the cliff from the east side there are a small cave that can be easily missed if you choose the same questionable path I've mentioned at the start. We had booked Steven from Hometown Tours Belfast as part of a team building day, and he took us from the Albert Clock all along the river. Loads of really fascinating stories and history about Belfast’s origins, how the shipbuilding got started, the story of the Nomadic tender ship, the titanic slipways, HMS Caroline etc. Really highly recommended way to learn about our history but there are also loads of information panels if you just fancy a walk. Have booked again as part of the maritime festival in September so we can take friends.
