世界中の美術品が展示されており、1日で回りきるのは結構大変なくらい多いです。2階のGreat Hallは中々見物です。 比較的極東アジアの展示は少なく、西洋が多いです。ルートが少し分かりにくく、迷います。 食事エリアは2つあり、味は普通なので外に出た方が良い。 お土産は沢山の種類を揃えてます。

美術品の素晴らしさもありますが、スタッフも親切で丁寧。素敵なカフェが2店舗あり、私は午後から行きましたが、午前中から行って位置にゆっくり廻ってもいいかなと思いました。また次回の出張時には訪れたいと思います。デトロイトにきたら来るべき美術館です。
