In meinem Zimmer 331 waren alle Stehlampen nicht funktionsfähig, da die Birnen anscheinend nicht funktioniert haben. Für mich war das nicht so dramatisch, ich wollte keine Handwerker in meinem Zimmer. Was ein wirkliches Highlight war, war das Bad, welches komplett mit weißem Marmor ausgekleidet war ! Sowas sieht man sehr selten. Generell muss ich sagen, dass ich das Zimmer etwas zu dunkel fand und mir hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz gepasst hatte, zumal ich eine Junior Suite hatte. Der Service war von vorne bis hinten absolut hervorragend und jede Mitarbeiterin und jeder Mitarbeiter waren sehr höflich und zuvorkommend ! Auch das Frühstück fande ich sehr gut. Vor allem der Blick auf den Kanal ist eine super Erfahrung. Generell muss man sagen, dass Leute, welche in diesem Hotel übernachten nicht jeden Euro umdrehen müssen. Auch ich nicht. Dennoch ist es mir wichtig zu erwähnen, dass in meinen Augen teilweise das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier nicht ganz passt. Was mich wirklich schockiert hatte, war, dass wir in dem zwei Sterne Restaurant essen gehen wollten und statt den 250 € pro Person, welche normalerweise auf der Website angeboten werden, nun 950 € pro Person zahlen sollten. Hier muss ich ehrlich sagen, dass ich nicht bereit bin für 1900 € zu zweit essen zu gehen ! Ich denke, so geht es auch vielen anderen Menschen unabhängig davon, welche Vermögen sie haben. Ich finde es schade, dass hier generell der Fokus eher auf die sehr sehr sehr betuchte Kundschaft gelegt wird und teilweise bei Renovierungen wie den Fliesen im Wellnessbereich, welche teilweise schon lose wegfallen, dann gespart wird. Ich hatten einen sehr guten Preis für mein Zimmer und würden zu diesem Preis wieder in dieses Hotel gehen. Jedoch würde ich die 900 € tatsächlich nicht investieren für ein Zimmer/ Hotel welches den ein oder anderen Mangel hat. Ich finde es sehr schade, dass ein sehr prestigereiches Hotel in gewisse Weise, den alten Glanz und Stil verliert, indem es zu einem der teuersten Hotels in Amsterdam wird, was nur noch für die wohlhabendsten der Gesellschaft zu bezahlen ist. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass der alte Grundgedanke des Heiniken Besitzers (welcher leider verstorben ist) wieder auflebt und das Hotel zu seinem alten Glanz zurück findet.
