So it was just okay. My wife got the French toast with strawberries. She liked it very much, however when I tried it, I thought it was rather dry. The toast was a huge thick piece of bread so I like mine soaked through with the egg wash. It was lightly dipped. So for me I wouldn’t order it if I came here again. I know this review seems rather picky but I wanted to give it a thorough review so you can decide for yourself. My honest opinion they nickel and dime you for every thing on the menu. The staff were lovely and welcoming, there was good coffee and breakfast in the mornings. The location really can't be beat. The beds are super comfortable and the water pressure is good. However, there was a real issue with moisture in my room. I thought upon check-in it was because the AC had been off, and I was hopeful the smell would go away once it had been running continuously, but it didn't. I just showered with the liner open because I didn’t even wanna touch it. you can tell it was a old tub but I would definitely be investigating in a steam cleaner and it will take all that gunk and debris stuck in the cracks right off, oh I would also invest in a snake as I read on other reviews the clog was drained and the water didn’t go down and that’s just a unpleasant feeling. you can’t hear through the walls but you can definitely hear what everyone’s doing if your standing outside on the balcony because the windows are thin, our neighbors were a bit loud around 4am since we could hear them through our window but it didn’t last long and I know the hotel can’t control that but just a heads up for loud neighbors. the location is definitely a plus and the hotel breakfast was actually decent. When we checked in and walked into the room the room had scuff/scrapes on the floor and the curtains were damaged torn. I made the mistake of assuming since they put me in the room with damages that they had them documented and didn’t take a picture. They claim that they don’t have a report of previous damages but I could see how tattered they were through the window before stepping foot in the room. I was very confused because I thought they were booked when I reserved the room. Bonnie informed me the hotel does not know about the chair reservations until check in. I expressed (very kindly) that this was a HUGE issue because my toddler will need shade for the beach and that I didn’t understand why reserving chairs was even an option upon booking if it would not be guaranteed. Very little sympathy was shown to the point where she said “I do not know how to make you understand”. I told her that reserving chairs for guests at booking should be off the table if this was going to happen and she should share that with her general manager. Secondly, upon arrival our refrigerator was not working. Requested maintenance to come out the next day (since they already had left for the day), but they never came. Luckily we were able to get it working in time before our food/milk for my toddler spoiled. However, never received a call to check in and maintenance was never out to check. Thirdly, the same night of check in, we pulled out the spare couch bed for the kids to find dirty linens on the mattress. Really?! Bonnie again was very little help other than just giving us clean linens. Lastly and even more upsetting, I left a message TWICE to speak to the general manager Libby. I am yet to get a call. Pretty terrible hospitality if you ask me, hence why we will never return and you shouldn’t either. The only positive for the stay was the breakfast. It was included in the price and was delicious!! After staying here I would visit any of their hotels. The rooms were beautiful so detailed and comfortable. And he knows I love the show "Gilmore Girls" so he brought me to stay at "The Addison Inn" and it was like i was living the Gilmore Girls life. From the Inn to walking in downtown, it was just amazing. All the little shops are so charming and some of my favorites like "The Lavender Store" and "Island Time" Ice Cream shops were just amazing.
