Good location, easy to find parking in the evening, this is probably one of the very best Vietnamese restaurants in Petaling Jaya. The restaurant is old-school and has good vibes, the boss and staffs are friendly. Food is served fast too. The beef noodles here is excellent and super flavorful, stir fried pork with lemongrass is very good, and finally, the barbecue pork skewer and pork sausage are heavenly delicious! Some people claimed authentic but I don't feel it at all. I went to Vietnam many times as I got vietnamese gf. To be honest the food just so so. Had pho soup was great but not that pho. The service was excellent. I customized my own Banh Mi by ordering the BBQ pork skewers, bread, and the platter. The bread was not up to my expectations, but the service was outstanding.
I enjoyed the fried spring rolls, and the platter is good if you know how to mix and match it. They also serve extra basil and carrot pickles upon request.
However, the platter costs RM20, which slightly expensive compared to the Vietnamese platter that I had in Danang. The quantity does not seem to match the price. The platter consists of 2.5 pieces Vietnamese wrap (they cut the transparent wrapping sheet in half), 3 pieces of spring rolls, three small sausages (as described by the staff), vermicelli, and vegetables as shown in photos shared.
Lemongrass ginger tea was good. Will be back for trying their spicy Pho and shall keep u guys posted.

Pho King was good. All tables were taken out there were still customers waiting in line outside.
I ordered the beef stew with rice and my better half had the beef pho.
The stew was tasty with tender chunks of beef and soft potatoes and some gravy that dried up pretty fast.
The pho was savoury with lots of herbs. The broth was rich and flavourful and the noodles just right.
I had also ordered the afogato but changed my mind when I saw the creme caramel with salted cream. Unfortunately what was delivered was nothing like the picture.
Throughout the meal I noticed an elderly lady working diligently, clearing tables and prepping for new customers.
On my way to the washroom I tried to hand her a tip but it was kindly refused.

I ordered pho aus beef medium. The soup is quite good and authentic but the beef feels like they just grab a chunk of beef slices and put on . Thus, each slice are not cooked equally. Overall, it’s a letdown for me and I probably wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here. If I have something in mind, I’ll edit this review and share with everyone the restaurant I’ll go instead.
When I came here to try, the restaurant is pretty crowded with their regular customers.

Had the weekday set, pho with australian beef brisket and slices. Its everything known vietnamese chains like Super Saigon and Pho Vietz want to be, whose quality depending on location will vary. The soup is hearty but light with a wonderful depth of flavour and is served at the proper temperature for you to slightly cook the beansprouts and basil so that they’re still crunchy but still retain the flavour. Beef was tender and the noodles were cooked well: still springy that you can bite through.
Weekday set served with two deep fried spring rolls (i ate one before I took picture). Some might find slightly oily and salty but was okay for me since it’s still a nice light crunch without being soggy either. Sweetness and spicyness of accompanying sauce gives nice contrast to cover oiliness. The spiced meat filling inside reminds me of the Chinese Five-spice meat roll so I liked it.
Interior is well-lit, warm-white lighting so not harsh but still bright. They play light jazz and also have plenty of electrical sockets if you want to stay and have a drink. A place I would go to regularly after work if I stayed nearer.
Pho set is about RM27 after tax.

The Vietnamese egg coffee is one of the best in town. The egg foam on top is spot on and it's thick enough to hold its shape. The coffee itself smells great. When you mix the cocoa powder with the foam, it's just delicious. One thing to note is that the foam is quite thick, so you'll probably need to use a spoon to scoop some up with the coffee to get the full experience in each sip. Definitely worth trying!

I’ve been a frequent diner here, but today’s experience has made me reconsider returning. I usually add an extra RM5 portion of beef to my Beef Pho because the standard serving has very little meat. In the past, they accommodated my request to serve the extra beef in a separate bowl with some soup. However, today a staff member informed me that this was no longer possible, and if I wanted it served separately, I would have to pay RM10 instead.
I found it unreasonable to pay double just for a small bowl of soup, so I opted for the RM5 add on as usual. When my meal arrived, I was shocked by the portion! We’ve tried their must try the pork ban mi so so only so we ordered the ham pork hopefully better but no good at all especially the cheap chilli souce spoiled everything. The place is well decorated and very nice ambience for couples or family. Scan menu to order when waitress just dropped off the QR. All are Vietnamese and probably don't speak much local language though can speak some mandarin. MENU was full of varieties but most written in Vietnamese. So just choose by picture.

The Banh Mi is definitely a must to order here. The crispy, flaky bauget with the tasty filling inside is really delicious.

One of the female staff speaks mandarin and was quite helpful. Serves up home style Viet dishes at affordable prices. Service is average, and they were probably short-handed at that time too. Pretty authentic flavours but somehow the photos in the menu looked alot more appetizing than what is served up. It was pretty fun making your own rice paper rolls - we were served herbs that didn't look too fresh, had lots of bruises and black spots. Had to request for it to be replaced. Good portion size. Do try their Viet sambal in the condiment tray, spicy and fragrant. Parking can be a problem during weekdays. Located at the row of shops directly opposite Kelana Jaya LRT station. The chestnut tofu with rice is not really appealing… first of all the bowl is not even a bowl, it is an illusion to look like it’s a lot, but honestly it’s super less… filled with more mushrooms than tofu…

So many delicious looking things on the menu it was very hard to decide what to order. We eventually got an appetizer platter, lemongrass chicken bahn mi, and a premium raw beef noodle soup. Everything was served in quite a timely manner. They also serve egg coffee, which took some time to prepare, but it was a really interesting experience. It was really quite sweet, and the whipped egg tasted more like a meringue or dalgona on the top. It was thick and creamy. And the coffee flavour is strong. I love their condiment bar, where you can take Thai basil leaves and lime wedges for your soup, as well as various sauces. The homemade sriracha sauce is excellent. There is a freezer outside their shop where you can buy some of their food in packets to take home and reheat. I tried to buy 2 frozen bahn mi but unfortunately the staff told me they were all booked by other customers and there was none left. Haha oh well! Better luck next time. Found this place through xhs and google. At 1st thought this place is not the same shop but after check again only realised the name of the shop has changed. I have tried the fried spring roll, pork with vermicelli, mini pan cake and grilled pork. All these foods are taste delicious. The pork belly I suppose different people have different preference. I like it, my partner didn’t enjoy it. So I had it all to myself 😅

Decided to give this restaurant a try, listed in the Top 10 Best Vietnamese Restaurants in KL and Selangor. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, it was a bit of a shock. Sunday dinner crowd was a surety in all restaurants in KLCC, but not here. We gave it a try anyway. Waiters are helpful and attentive, recommended the spaghetti with lamb and mushroom sauce. Nice ambient, great choice of Vietnamese food and drinks. The variety of starters are tasty. Noodles portion is quite big (lots of soup). So don't force yourself to finish the soup if you can't.

Overpriced small portion vietnamese food if you are a big eater. Would suggest to order mains per pax and side dishes to share if you are craving for Vietnamese food in KLCC but cant find any. Restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the QLCC mall but surprisingly quiet which is enjoyable, specially after shopping or visiting the Petronas twin towers ;)
The set meals (includes main dish, salad, spring rolls, rice and dessert custard all together) at only 15 Ringgits are just a bargain. You may have to ask for the dedicated menu though as these are not on the main carte. Food was served quickly, was fresh and very tasty. Personnel was also very professional.
Only downside, the grilled calamaris and shrimps were overcooked.

The restaurant seems to have been awarded one of the 10th best Thai restaurant in KL on 2017.

The mung bean ball dessert was a surprising delight as the mix between the ginger flavoured coconut milk plus the bean balls was perfect. Possibly had the best banh mi here outside of Vietnam. The beef banh mi was grilled and toasted perfectly, with excellent flavour. The pho does not rock my world - the soup lacks nuance, and is simply salty, but the ingredients are fresh. The spring rolls (fresh and fried) are quite good. It was my first time eating Vietnamese food and TBH it's worth the try. I love Vietnamese coffee and recently found out about this place after checking out the weekend Amcorp Mall's antique market. I can see why people loves pho. It's really healthy option kinda food with fresh greens, beef broth that are lightly seasoned and flat noodles. I guess it's quite similar to kuew tiaw soup in a way. I still prefer our version of thick beef broth though. The spring rolls are nice too. Both fried and fresh but I think the fresh one taste better. The coffee was amazing. Tonight, I tried the mango and shrimp salad. The herbs created a refreshing aroma that filled my mouth, and the balance between the slightly sweet mango and the fresh veggies was just perfect.

Finally found a good Vietnamese in KL!
Loved the atmosphere, reminded me of old Hoi An, very friendly staff, but above all, all the dishes were great with authentic Vietnamese homey taste.
They sell dry pho noodle which is def a plus coz it's rarely sold in supermarkets in KL.
If to name one improvement, it'd be the menu. It'd be perfect if there were more stir fried or braised veggie like fried morning glory or eggplant hotpot, I would def visit more often!

Really great find for tasty vietnamese food in Happy Mansion PJ. Ordered the Beef Pho with the beef tendered and medium to medium rare. Broth was refreshing and soothing at the same time. Bun Cha with pork came in those most flavourful broth infused with a hint of chili to give it that kick. Definitely from a flavour note the highlight of the meal. Original Banh Mi was tasty with the crispiness of the bread and depth of the pate flavour sticking out. Fresh summer rolls and pork satay were good and worth a try but the earlier mentioned dishes definitely stood out. Must visit, must try!

We ordered some pork bành mi, pho bo, chicken pho and bun cha. What stood out most were the bành mi and the pork bun cha. These are must have in this place. The bun cha was especially refreshing with the fresh greens and beansprouts. The rice vermicili went very well with the pork stew. Really good! The pho however was less than authentic. Not bad but did not remind us of the versions that we had in Hanoi and HCMC.
The viet coffee was good. We opted for the ice version which probably made it less thick.
Service was excellent. Very well trained staff who came about their duties efficiently. Atmosphere was also comfortable with tables well spreaded hence making it a comfortably private dining.

Ordered the beef pho noodles. The beef was still nice and pink while you are eating it. So the taste and softness of the beef is still very good while you are eating it. Broth was nice and mild on its own. Pairing with the chili on the table, gives a real nice kick.
The bahn mi was the really one of the best in town. The amount of pate they out in the bun just oozzes out while you take a bite. 10/10 should get it.
The fresh spring rolls are quite authentic. Taste wise is good but the bahn mi and the pho was the star of the meal.
The salted caramel coffee is wonderful. The salted caramel cream on the top layer is nice and sweet. When you mix it together, it blends well with the coffee.
The egg coffee is also really good. Nice, sweet and abit creamy.

We stopped by One Penchala Kopitiam Restaurant for lunch. This place has a variety of hawker food available. It gets really crowded during lunch hour but there are plenty of seats. The food tasted good and comes in reasonable portions. The Roast Pork, Bbq Pork (Char Siew) & Roast Chicken tasted delicious. Stumbled upon this place by chance, and was drawn to their buffet lunch on offer. You get an array of vietnamese home-cooked dishes, similar to 'chap fun' concept at a reasonable price of RM15.90 per head. The difference is that you can continuously top up your dish of choice! Stumbled upon this restaurant that was full house while looking for another shop that is closed. Highly recommend the Banh Mi, fried spring roll and their coffee, so good! However, we were disappointed by the spring roll bcs the rice paper was torn and the taste was just ok. The pork trotter soup was just ok, broth was sticky, would be better with rice but there were generous amount for the pork trotter meat.
Another issue was the hygiene, saw the workers using same bare hands to take fresh mint leaves, also touching table cloth and cash.

Dec.2023, I tried the new Bun Cha. RM25 is a bit pricey but has value. Beef is wrapped in herb leaves and grilled. So the flavor stays inside ant its very delicious. This is a new recommended meal.

Restaurant is operated by a localised Vietnamese. Hence, food is prettt authentic. The pho was good with a very appetizing soup base. The bańh mi was also quite good altho the filling was a tad localized - we tried the pork and beef. The rice roll had good veggie filling plus adequate shrimps. Coffee was potent and very sweet as with typical Vietnamese coffee. The one which did not meet expectation was the bun cha. It was not similar to what you will get in HCM nor Hanoi hence quite a letdown.
This is a non air conditioned restaurant. While it was not uncomfortable, the flies was bothersome. Parking was quite easy.

I had the Chicken Bagette with extra chilies. The bread was crisp, the filling was generous and tasty. The Ginger and Lemongrass beverage was delicious. Everyone seemed very happy with their choices.

Their specialties include the Thai Style Steamed Seabass and Pork/Chicken Tom Yum. Both were really good and a lot better than many of the Thai restaurants I've been to. I recently swung by here for a quick lunch and decided to try their Thai Mama Tom Yum prawn noodles for RM15 a bowl. It was my first time trying this stall at Mayang Oasis Food Court. They have plenty of choices of Thai food display in front of their stall. They all looked delicious. I tried their pineapple fried rice and the salted vegetables soup. Both tasted good. The helpings of the fried pineapple rice were rather big with pieces of pineapple, cashew nuts, pieces of meat sausage, meat, and topped with chicken floss. 2) didn't mention set meal until I asked about it.

The only Vietnamese food in Tropicana Avenue. Nice ambience, simple design in this cozy place. I recommend the fried rolls and Vietnamese sandwich, super delicious .
