It surpassed everything we had hoped for. The hotel is vast, but very spacious. It is super clean and the gardens are beautifully kept. We came here 5 times this year and the manager Kareem was great, during our recent stay there was a change and a new animation manager took over. Firstly his English was horrendous I could never understand what he was saying. I found him very rude around the pool always on his phone and not engaging with guests. Even when he walks by just staring at his phone doesn't even say hello. He also made lots of changes to the animation program that was a disappointment to guests. I guarantee he will run this animation team into the ground he doesnt have the correct mindset to run this successfully. I dont understand how someone who doesnt speak good English can become animation management. I tried speaking to him and he didnt even understand English let alone speak it. The animation team Ahmed, Dima, Olivia, Lene, Saeed, Bondok, Nina and the rest are all amazing and work very hard but you can see they are becoming demoralised by the new animation manager. This hotel is a 5 star luxury hotel and is being run all wrong by the new manager. Its very sad to see him doing this. Hes the wrong kind of manager for a high end hotel like crystal bay. He doesnt understand the guests and what they like. After being at the hotel 5 times and also understanding the way a business works this is a really bad move employing this guy as the entertainment manager. His behaviour made me feel uncomfortable and certainly did not reflect the level of hospitatility I expected from my stay at the hotel. First trip there has just concluded (Nov 2025) and we rebooked for next year almost immediately. The resort is large, with three distinct areas: West bay, Beach area and Villas. Beach (central) zone is amenable to families whilst the other two are for adults, but it is open plan and you never feel hemmed in. The grounds are beautiful with lush grass, palm trees and flowering shrubs, all interlaced with pleasant, meandering pathways on different levels. At night it is particularly beautiful because of the copious, soft lighting illuminating the flora and the abundant swimming pools. The beach is wonderful and a cut above the adjoining hotels/resorts. Easy entry points are clearly marked and the sandy bottom ranges between 1-6M in depth, with numerous coral outcrops and and an abundance of fish. I totally recommend it for snorkelling. Food and catering is exceptional at any level of all-inclusive package. The main restaurants offer a huge selection of fresh, appetising dishes. Really impressed. Lots of resorts make really big claims about what they offer but, hand on heart, I can tell you that the management of Fort Arabesque truly walks the talk. They deliver EXACTLY what they claim to offer. The staff everywhere are simply delightful and attentive (love them all); the public areas and accommodation are impeccably clean and well maintained. We stayed in a duplex suite for part of our stay and the remainder in a beautiful villa. Die angeschlossene Tauchschule SUBEX ist ebenfalls top! Alle, wirklich ALLE Mitarbeiter, vom Gärtner bis zum Manager, ausnehmend freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer bei guter Laune!!! Room was kept lovely a clean throughout by the fantastic muhammed. Was was excellent every day and we visted all the restaurants too, staff are lovely espeically muhammed from the italian restaurant and outside bar during the day ( have a nice 10 days off) We stayed in the seaview room and was lovely although we did expect a room overlooking the entertainment but still very much a lovely veiw on the sea. But have both agreed we prefered our last room in the new building over looking the pool as its quieter but thats just how we like it. Kaisol romance is a lovely hotel with lovely staff and well worth a visit if you just want to relax and swim with fish and eat great food. Weather in novemeber time is perfect 26c to 30c and sunset about 4.30pm heat still around 23c to 25c at night but with a nice cool breeze. Cocktails at kaisol are great and when the staff get to know you i can guarentee your drink will be made before you sit down. The spa and massages are fantastic we had 3 each and defo hit the spot and used the spa in the evening when the sun went down lovely and quiet with barly any people around the pool.
