As someone who loves pizza (and not in the normal way) I was excited to have a place selling Grandma slices. Service was great, everyone was friendly. Atmosphere is nice, I liked it. However, the grandma slices were not up to par at all. Both of my slices had a gum line (doughy under the toppings) that was too big. I understand having a bit of a gum line when cooking this style, but it was /doughy/. Obviously the par bake needs to be tweaked, or something else in the process. Whomever proofed the grandma in the pan lost patience and over stretched created a creased pocket on the outside. I am not sure if this is just working out the kinks of a new place, or if this is the normal. I do think the toppings offered, variety, is excellent. I loved having a n'duja option. Not something you oft find here. I will visit at a later date and give it another shot. Hoping it works out!
