This 1928 vintage theater is quite large and is both beautiful and acoustically well designed. We saw Hell's Kitchen last night and were at this theater for the first time. We really enjoyed the performance... with music and dancing. And it told a very poignant story of Alicia Keys. We got season tickets and are already looking forward to the next show.

I have never been disappointed any time I’ve ever visited the Benedum. The shows are great and the architecture is beautiful inside!

I can’t even put into words how amazing the New Hazlett team is. Had my wedding here 6 months ago and have struggled to write this review. The venue speaks for itself. It transformed into the perfect intimate reception space we were looking for with plenty of options to customize it to what we wanted. It was simply stunning. Half way through planning Tru took over the event and was nothing short of spectacular. He was supportive, truly cared about our vision, and worked with us to make our dream reception space come to fruition. Tru and Kevin truly understood how important it was to us (as craft beer lovers and many memories spent with friends at the early days of Grist House and my husband being from Germany) to have our couples drinks be from Grist and Germany. Kevin worked closely with us to make this special touch work by getting the two special beers and working with us to use custom beer glasses from Germany. Dylan also understood our vision and ensured that the lights, neon sign, and DJ were perfect. Overall, our experience was nothing short of spectacular and we can not thank this team enough, including René, who worked with us during the staff transition midway through planning. If you are looking for a unique wedding venue and a team that truly cares about your special day I can not recommend New Hazlett enough!

I have seen several jazz- avant garde artists at the Hazlett Theater. It reminds me of the intimate setting of Graffiti's on Baum Blvd. The Hazlett offers a limited selection of adult beverages with snack articles. Took my boys to their first concert here. It was the Dance kid dance tour for Shinedown with guests Bush & Morgan Wade. First off the whole experience was great!
I'll start with the venue, it was a quick entry when the door opened. We had no issues ( tickets were scanned from your phone) they do have a strict bag policy. I brought a belt bag but hot scared i wouldn't be able to bring it in so i left it in the car. I did have a phone wallet and clipped my car keys onto my belt loop of my shorts. The staff was nice and helpful. It was really clean and well conditioned. We had really good seats and they were comfortable when we were sitting. I did buy nachos and 3 drinks, the food was good but quite expensive.
The restrooms were nice and clean as well.
Now the show, it was Amazing! There was fire/ fireworks, Light shows and fog which were awesome and the sound was great! Everything was nice and clear but not too loud.
I definitely recommend this place to see a concert or game.

Overall an absolutely incredible experience for me and a couple of my boys that drove down from Canada to watch our fellow goalie Marc Andre Fleury play in his last game as a penguin.

Second only to Madison Sqaure Garden in NHL arenas I’ve been too. It’s very open. Even with a poor season the fans were still energetic. I went to the Capitals vs Penguins season finale. Staff was friendly. Drinks were the best priced I’ve seen at a stadium or venue. Hope you like IPAs they have plenty. Fun and unique halftime gimics keep the entertainment going while the players rest. Really liked it. Wore a Capitals Ovechkin Jersey to the game at PPG (non sports fans, that’s a no no) and was treated with respect without exception by all fans & staff. Very safe area of town. Definitely a must visit. Parking - park your car either across on Schenley Drive opposite Phipps Botanical garden (better location) OR across Anderson Playground. This is a great venue, I have been here multiple times and the sound and tech work is great. My only real complaint is the seats. If you are a larger person you will probably have trouble sitting in the average seat. They are small stadium like seats. The side "Box" seats are a little better.

I was wowed by the style and vibe that this place carries. The place is chic without being intimidating and the staff was professional but friendly. The Lounge outside the theater doesn't have many tables but the bar is long and well stocked. The theater room is beautiful and quirky. The seats are very close to one another so you'll be in close proximity of other people especially sitting at the bar table and at the tables in the middle of the room.
You can eat at the lounge without a ticket or you can eat while watching a show but you'll obviously need a ticket for that.
Before and during intermission the server came often to make sure we had everything we needed during the show.
Cocktails are good but weak and the plates are well presented but small for the prices.
The bathrooms are large enough that I didn't have to wait in line and they are clean.
We were overall happy with the experience and we'll go back for other shows but the lounge food and cocktails could be improved in sizes and/or execution to justify the prices and the title of upscale bistro.

They did give us the wrong table. We arrived right at showtime which was 7:30PM and they had given our table to someone else. We were suppose to have Table 22 but they gave us Table 43. This park is amazing. It has a very unique slide and I've heard that they have these neat swings that hang above the river, but we've been there 3 times in the past month and they aren't ever hung up. The dock is beautiful and a great place to fish, watch the sunset, or maybe even do yoga (if you're into that sort of thing lol).
