Its definitely best to pop in on a autumn/winter day when there fire is lit and there is a lovely bustle to the place. The bed was awful (Room 6). The mattress and bed frame need replacing, especially for the price you pay. Every time someone moved slightly, the bed creaked very loudly and wobbled. The paintwork was of a poor finish in places, especially on the window sills and all the plug sockets were hidden behind furniture, so using appliances was a bit challenging, too. We recently went back again and this time we tried a couple of sides and a pizza and it was a pleasant surprise.
