We were not disappointed. The restaurant area was roomy , with ample space between tables. The service was friendly and prompt without being pushy, and we never felt any pressure to move on. The food was lovely, high quality and some dishes which were just a little different. My daughter ordered a pizza, which was huge! But they provide take home pizza boxes so I guess people not finishing is pretty usual! Very generous portions but the food was a bit hit and miss. The pork tenderloin was superb and we were recommended the disco fries so we tried that but weren't too impressed. We had the Korean fried chicken disco fries and I honestly have never had fried chicken with such thick hard batter. The batter was a bit unpleasant and almost as much as the chicken itself. The sauce was also a bit too sweet and unbalanced in flavour profile. It was harnished with deep fried kale which was just inedible, like trying to chew through plastic. Similar for the camembert bites, the breading was just too thick and hard and made it difficult to enjoy the dish. That said the other dishes were good and the service was excellent. We would go again to try different items.
