A great Irish Pub! If you're looking for some incredibly awesome food in Holland, Michigan, this place should be on your list. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the seating area outside was very nice. Our whipped feta appetizer was delicious. We'll definitely be making that at home sometime soon. The pita bread and veggies served with it were equally as delicious. If you don't try it, you're missing out on something incredible. My Irish Stew was also very good. I'd definitely order it again. My wife's pork chops were also very good along with her potatoes and mixed vegetables.
I'm not sure when we'll be back in Holland, but this will definitely be on our list of places to go. It's too good to miss.

A nice spot downtown. All the locals tell me its worth a stop. I think they're right. Nice outdoor dining if the weather permits. Interesting decor inside. Portions are large, prices are moderate. I enjoyed it and would be back. The staff was ok, a little understaffed and slow but they did well. The shepherds pie and the veggie, pita, and cheese appetizer was fantastic.

Great experience on a Saturday night, place was pretty busy, regardless good prompt service and good came out quickly and piping hot. Loved the beer cheese soup to start, and I would highly recommend the Shepards pie if you’re in the mood for comfort food. It was a generous portion and the Reuben sandwich was also huge. My daughter and I did a mini roadtrip up to Hollad from South Bend. Decided to give this restaurant a try. We sat outside and the hostesses were great, friendly. Our waitress was okay and we wish we would of had one that was more attentive or organized. I dont know if she was newish or just not organized in her orders. I ordered waters for us and a appetizer of mozzarella sticks. My daughter ordered the apple cider drink and it was brought out quickly. The mozzarella sticks were really good, possibly the best I've had. Our waitress stopped by again to take our order. Then about 30 minutes later came back asked how our sticks were then said "you guys didn't order dinners so is there anything else I can get you?" I said "Yes, we did order entrées." She couldn't find where she wrote them down. So I told her what we ordered. She then said "oh I don't think I put that in yet, I'll go do it now." Our food came out about 5 minutes later. She never refilled our waters or asked my daughter if she wanted another apple cider drink. She came and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. I asked if we could have a couple more napkins like 2 or 3 more. She told me "if I have time I will". Okay cool never got them. The food was delicious and we will definitely come back for the food. It was busy as it was a Saturday afternoon but all the servers were busy and attentive to their tables.

The restaurant was very clean !! When we went there was NO wait . Our waitress was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. The Curragh Irish Pub is true to its name. Irish food at the core of the menu and an extensive drink menu, especially for beer drinkers. We enjoyed lunch on the patio on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and our party of 6 started with the artichoke spinach dip served with corn chips and bread along with hummus served with a lot of veges and pita. Burgers and other sandwiches were good. Stew and soup received less favorable reviews. Service friendly and very relaxed, taking over 90 minutes start to finish. Bathrooms downstairs and stair treads are buckled. Elevator not particularly wheelchair friendly. Nice place for lunch and happy they had a table readily available for a fairly large party right away.

I had an excellent lunch here and found the service and food to be wonderful. The menu has just enough options to make choosing a bit difficult, but my waitress recommended the Mediterranean Pasta. It turned out to be a great recommendation. The pasta was perfectly tender and the flavors of the toppings and sauce blended together very well. Everything was super yummy! 😋 The short ribs were amazing, and the Hot Honey and Brie requires some discipline - it's really good. 🤤 The chicken gyro with the tallow fries was a perfect pairing. Awesome experience I had on this pub/restaurant, they have a very nice combination of American food and Mediterranean food! Very tasty and definitely a place I would come back. Prices are fair. It was my first time in after a recommendation from a friend. I left absolutely stuffed! Having eaten many Gyros over the years, and many from the source in Greece, I fancy myself an astute judge on a quality gyro and many are not. I was so pleasantly surprised by the one I had at Waverly. They didn't skimp on the meat or the tzatiki and the flat bread was warm and soft. Being the glutton I sometimes am, I also couldn't pass up trying their beer cheese which certainly had a unique twist. It was outrageously good and interesting in the best way. Don't pass on it. A great all around restaurant. It hits a nice price point of being on the upper end of food quality and experience with a reasonable price. They have a great variety of foods: we tried the goat cheese salad with salmon, the chicken schwarma bowl, and the Waverly smash burger with tallow fries. Last Saturday we decided to try this place and for now this is my #1 in Holland. From atmosphere to cleanliness, service, and of course, food is wow, wow, wow.... Our waiter was Justin and this guy is an expert in waitering. Thank you Justin for the good recommendation. The food was so perfect in portion and tasted so good. I have to mention the sweet part of the day, ✨️ crème brûlée ✨️ and lemon cheese cake. We tried the cherry chocolate cake, it's good but if you like a very sweet cake. Posting for anyone like us, two moms with two young kids looking for a nice but casual early dinner. We came around 5:30 and sat outside we loved the waterfront ambiance! At that time, it still had a casual vibe, which was perfect for people with young kids just trying to have a nice meal while clinging for their lives. 😅
By the time we were leaving around 7, the fancier crowd was starting to roll in, but we never felt out of place. The calamari was great, the shrimp and scallop ravioli was delicious, and the perch was just okay. The kids’ menu was solid, and our server David was amazing, attentive, friendly, and great with the kids.
Highly recommend for families who want a beautiful setting without the pressure of being super formal.

Wonderful shaded setting for lunch on the water. The wait staff was friendly but service was slow. Not a big deal bc of the view. The fruity alcoholic drinks were $11 each. They were tasty but seemed like they had no alcohol. The food was above average bar food. Spinach and artichoke dip was solid. BBQ sandwich was tasty but had very little meat. The truffle fries were really good. Go for the view and know you’ll have good food but nothing all that special. We will return with that expectation.

We started out with the stoner fries. They were amazing until the last handful, I pulled an incredibly long black hair (baked into the fry batter) out of my mouth. If you enjoy cocktails, this is a must in Holland. Stopped in off a recommendation from a local friend and it did not disappoint! Had "A Samurai that Smells of Sunflowers" and Jungle Bird and both were excellent! My buddy had the Saladito and Oaxaca Old Fashioned and both of those were stellar as well. This is a longstanding tavern with beer and pizza in Holland. The beer sell for around $5.50 a bottle and the pizza is reasonably good and priced. The problem is it takes a LONG time for you to get the food. We went on a Friday night in the summer and it was busy but we sat at our table for close to an hour before our pizza arrived. The 3rd time is always at Jets on Holloween, as we always have family and friends over to celebrate this Holiday. This year for Holloween, we decided to try a new pizza and decided on Skiles. I called them on my work lunch break to place the order, to be picked up at 5 by family on their way to my house. I was told by the person who answered the phone, that I was calling too early and that I couldn't call until 4:30 to place the order. I asked her if that was enought time to get the 3 pizza's ready by 5 and she said that maybe I should call at 4:15. I thought it was strange that I couldn't place the order, but I got out of work early, rushed home so I could place the order. For 30 minutes I called (close to 50 times), and the phone was either busy or someone answered it and hung up on me multile times. At 4:45 I gave up but was now in a panic trying to figure out what to do when guests were going to be at my house in 15 min. I ultimately called Jets and we were eating at 5:15. The whole experience was very stressful and disappointing for someone who is a planner and organized, I guess it's best to stick with what works. Skiles could have gained a new customer, but they lost that opportunity as I will never order from or vist this establishment.

We had an amazing experience! Despite it being a clearly busy night, they graciously accommodated our group of 12 with no problem. Drinks and appetizers came out quickly, including the incredible burrata cheese with raspberry balsamic glaze, which was a crowd favorite! The bad news was that they did not serve food any longer, but you can bring food into the tasting room - we had non so we went to another place for food. I just went here for drinks with a group of friends we bar hopped from a different bar to here for the karaoke. The atmosphere was loud and fun, they have billiards available and a stacked bar with pretty much anything you want. It was pretty busy but I think to get a drink, it took longer than it should/could of which is why I didn't rate it a full 5 stars. The people there were mostly in there 30s or older (up to really old) so not that many younger people but that is okay everyone seemed nice. What genuinely makes this place 5-star worthy is the fact that there’s MULTIPLE gluten-and-dairy-free bakery items. My boyfriend and I also enjoyed our lattes— as baristas, we were impressed with the staff’s skilled latte art, especially considering I got mine with oat milk. The atmosphere was totally fine. I could personally just go without the music playing as it seemed a little all over the place, and the tables are fairly close together, but it’s evident they’re trying to utilize the space they have and provide as much indoor seating as possible for customers. I’m looking forward to coming back to this coffee shop as it’s very accommodating and overall very pleasant.

The Wooden Shoe has been a Holland fixture for decades now, and it’s not hard to see why. They don’t make anything too complicated, but they do make fresh meals done well. This time I tried the chicken fried steak, and it was delicious. The breading was crispy and the sausage gravy was hearty. Love this place. I have been coming here for 30 plus years. It was my mom's favorite breakfast spot in Holland. This so in her memory we visit regularly when in town. It's attached to a store wooden show shop that's really nice to visit after you eat. It's a small restaurant but they always accommodate and make room for large groups ;which is a regular thing. The bar selection was perfect to accommodate everyone's tastes, it was easy to bring in a licensed caterer and the space was perfect for our group size.
