Being on the river was a nice thing but make sure you’re decent before opening those curtains (I was) but did give the two people having a chat outside a window a fright when I opened them! One major down point about the room was the road and outside noise. The sash windows were very much closed but the traffic noise and drafts made it sound like it was very much like the windows were wide open and I do wonder if that room would be quite cold in winter as a result. If you’re a heavy sleeper this shouldn’t bother. Tea and coffee making facilities all good as are the towels and complimentary shower gels. Like I say, nice friendly service, decent budget stay or group stay but noisey and limited chargeable parking (also not ideal if not pre-booked as there’s no where to pull over nearby). Not a disabled or lesser able bodied friendly with the amount of stairs to enter the building.

Chose this because it was near to where I wanted to be but thank goodness. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a sofa, fridge and double aspect too. The en-suite was spotless,modern and roomy. The service was un-fussy and friendly, I was given a jug of fresh milk in the fridge for my coffees. The room was quite, well equipped with excellent bathroom facility and decor. The size of the room is huge, everything is nice and wonderful in the room.
