The service was excellent and reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were maybe a little small, if you were staying for more than a couple nights, and not much space for luggage. If you go during rush hour obviously it's going to take longer. -There is parking that is included when you rent from the Lum Hotel. -Affordable apartment with appliances included. -If there were problems they would text right back. Here is what was not good about this place- -Even though they have parking included you have to access it in the back part of the building which is in an alleyway off of broadview road. They only have one light that works. Definitely need more lighting in this alleyway parking lot. The have one camera definitely need more. -Just be mindful of heroine addicts trying to shoot up in the alleyway or homeless people digging through the trash bin too. -The sunlit suite was nice when we walked in but looks can be deceiving . The tub was dirty. Yuck. Didn't give you enough towels. -Be prepared to hear the streetcar go by & shake the building while you're trying to sleep. Ever see the movie blues brothers? -You can hear ever tenant that is renting waking around & coming in & out of the building. -They had windows in the sunlit suite but had bars on them. -It is true from other reviews that if you have some kind of disability or handicap this is not the place for you. Stairs are very narrow. Thank god we were on the 1 st floor. Didn't have to do the stairs. Felt bad for apartment number 6 they had no windows. Yuck. -Air conditioning worked in the kitchen but when it wanted too. Bedroom one didn't work at all. Thank god for the fan in the room. -If you come in the winter months when it's cold good luck. We came to Toronto for a family wedding and stayed three nights in the two bedroom, 'Loft Living' unit. Communication with the owner/manager was great leading up to our stay. The futon in the living room is completely wrecked. We couldn't even sit on it without it feeling like it was going to collapse. Therefore, there was inadequate seating in the living area. Again, we survived and these issues were minor, however, there were so many of them! And we'll book our plans around Posh Digs' availability.
