We stayed here for 8 nights from 29 Dec 2024 & we’re treated to hot breakfast every single day made by Dawne herself. I just told Dawne once about my dietary restrictions when I booked way back in October & she remembered so well. We woke up to such an extremely delicious breakfast every day which has been such an incredible experience because in previous locations, we received a very simple continental breakfast basket the previous night. It’s a 3-course breakfast which is just so extraordinarily generous considering how reasonable the cost is to stay here. Despite our accommodation booked during peak Christmas / school holiday season, Dawne did not even take any deposit from us which was the first time we ever experienced this & we have been holidaying in Australia twice a year for the past 26 years. Bruce gave us such excellent tips about the area because their local knowledge is vast & phenomenal. They even service the rooms daily which is enormous & very large hearted, considering they do everything themselves without any help whatsoever. On top of that, the check in process is difficult. One has to give a 30 min heads up of arrival to pick up the keys, with no standard reception available.
