Went for the $3, $6, $9 happy hour and ended up getting dinner. The Happy Hour menu is a part of the main menu, so I looked at the main menu and decided to get a steak. I appreciated and went with my server's recommendation, the New York Strip Steak Frites. I also ordered the Tater Tots from the $3 Happy Hour. The Tater Tots were the highlight in my opinion and the main reason I may come back. You get 4 large tater tots that have some sort of seasoning on them and 2 side sauces ( thousand island? and ketchup). The seasoning on the tater tots was enough to add some flavor, but not over-powering. The steak was somewhat disappointing. I appreciate the size, and it was cooked well (not referring to doneness), but (personally) the flavor was lacking. It was on the blander side of the spectrum but with a black peppery lean. As this is down to personal preference, and I can envision an audience that would appreciate a milder flavor, this is not a strike against the restaurant. I did ask my server for a salt shaker; they do not have one, but she did bring a small cup of salt and pepper for me. The accompanying fries were good (they had some light salt, but were not seasoned the same as the Tater Tots, reference). The lemonade was not my favorite, but better than some other establishments' lemonade. The service was balanced, not too attentive, but also not scarce. The restaurant's ambience was nice. The decor was elegant and tasteful. When I arrived (sometime around 5 pm), the lighting started out on the brighter end (not too bright) and it darkened around 6 pm. If there was music playing (I do not remember), it was not too loud. My biggest complaint would be that the prices are kind of high compared to other restaurants, but other than that it was not a bad experience.
