This is a great place for breakfast. We went there with kids and they seated us in the back garden area and provided baby chair. The service was good, but since were in the back area, maybe less attentive. The food was amazing! We ordered eggs benedict, ham and cheese croissant and scrambled eggs. The reputation precedes it! As many have already said, a delicious place for brunch that left me happy with every bite. We had the mushrooms on sourdough with an egg and the croque monsieur, both of which were perfectly cooked.
I really had no notes for the food - well prepared dishes and the flavor was also really well considered. I was also impressed by the speed of the service, despite it being very busy when we came for lunch, everything arrived fairly quickly!

Hierdoor hebben we het volgende gekregen:
1. Southern Fried Chicken en Waffles.
De naam zegt het al een beetje, maar dit zijn wafels met bbq saus, maple stroop/siroop en kip. Hierbij was de wafel zoals ik hem lekker vind hard van buiten en zacht van binnen. De kip was GBD (golden brown delicious) van buiten en super mals van binnen. De BBQ saus was perfect, wel aanwezig maar niet overheersend.
2. Crack Egg.

There are also plenty of toys for kids to play with while you sit. We came for brunch and had coffees and the pancake stacks. The food was good but a bit rich, it would have been nice to have some simple items on the menu. A small gripe is that the plates are really small for the portions so it made it a bit difficult to eat. Overall a cute place, good experience and nice for a chilled coffee

This is our favourite brunch spot in Den Haag. It has an American/70's-90's/LGBT theme.
They are one of the few places that makes milkshakes properly American style with iced cream rather than ice and cream.
The staff are super friendly and there is a lot of seating, though it does get all-but-overfull often.
It is very dog friendly.
There are comic books, an arcade game, and a 70's themed room.
The "Better Than French Toast" is perhaps their best menu item, and comes in 2 standard and 1 seasonal version.

The only place in the Hague I've been to that truly deserves all of the stars. The food is inspired, fresh (delicious sourdough), simple, and to me personally, perfect. The dishes are very modern meets traditional. Very beans, very seasonal, very whipped lemon ricotta, very confit. It would not surprise me at all if they do a lot of broth in the winter. Our first time at Five Guys, we came in a bit late but the server was nice saying that we could stay while they started cleaning.
Tried the cheeseburger and the bacon burger and both were nice, the cheeseburger was our favorite. We got large fries and got given some extra so the portion was actually huge (pictured).

Two smoked rations of bacon, beans, mushrooms, fried eggs and homemade sausage! I had the savoury pancakes made with kimchi and chicken and it was a very positive experience! Tried the pink latte and while it is a tad sweet, it is not overwhelmingly so, and it's served with a chocolate, which is always welcome.

Visited Birdflower, one of the most anticipated cafés on our list, located in Weimarstraat, West Den Haag.
We’ve heard about this place quite a few times, and a friend even told us that their bakery items often sell out before lunch! So, we decided to go early and be there right when it opened. And honestly, it was absolutely worth it.
We tried the Almond Croissant and Kimchi Cheddar Croissant. Both were incredibly good! Perfectly baked, flaky, and flavorful. For drinks, we had a Cappuccino and Flat White, both fresh and well-balanced. We even grabbed a Pistachio Cookie for takeaway because we were so impressed. It was also delicious!

The tofu burger had some nice bread bun and the chips are served warm and crunchy. It was nice to bump into this new spot around The Hague and give it a try. I do love that there’s quite a variety of options to choose from which caters to people with different dietary needs.
I must say that I expected a bit more in terms of flavour. There wasn’t anything that popped that made me feel like “this hit the spot”. I think for the price, the size and taste doesn’t match. I paid 4.50 for a premium empanada that finishes in 3-4 bites. Also, the persons taking orders should be a bit more mindful of the heating settings, as mine was still cold inside after being served.
