Unfortunately l only have it 3stars and those 3 stars are for the veg/fruit juice.
Hopeless service
Wait 10 minutes after walking in the door and you can hear when someone walks in the door. Sat down as a 1st timer and only one other person in the cafe/restuarant. then l had to go into the kitchen and get staff. They were just talking and eating and when l approached one of the lady’s and asked if l could get service the lady just looked at me as she forgot she was working in a cafe 🙄.
After the other lady came out and gave me a menu (without any energy or welcoming vibe what so ever l quietly asked if l can get a fresh apple, carrot, beetroot and ginger juice. There was a lot of confusion about adding the ginger 🤯….What is going on here. I nearly just walked out then as the cafe had no air flow, service was almost obsolete though l persisted and ordered.
I was waiting for 20 mins for one small juice and there was only 1 other person which had already finished meal
Then the juice sat on counter for several minutes after coming from the kitchen out the back while she starting making a tea for the other man.
If you don’t want to work or serve people with a smile then please find another way because hospitality is not for you.
Also if this is not your own business then l really feel for the owner of this establishment. Times are hard all over the world especially Nepal.

Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing food experiences I’ve had in a while. Had the Rustic Burger, Crispy Chicken with chips, iced latte and watermelon cooler. The food is tasty, well seasoned and delicious. The chicken was a little on the drier side but the meat from burger was great.

On our first visit to Soma, we tried several dishes, including all-inclusive breakfast (1200 rupees), kimchi hash browns (600 something rupees), two fresh juices (400 each I think and just passable) and another customised breakfast plate (the portion was small), two cups of chiya (unremarkable). 日本の純喫茶がタメルにあるなんて感動です。
メニュー豊富で美味しいのでおすすめします。
酷い客引きや値段交渉に疲れたころ、突然の日本語看板を発見して、吸い寄せられるように入ってしまった。リーズナブルで居心地のいい雰囲気！ここで初めてマサラチャイを飲みました。すごく美味しかったです！
たまたま見つけてみフラッと入った喫茶店。昭和レトロな雰囲気が最高です。初代オーナーが日本人だったそうですが、コーヒーも食事もヨーグルトも全部おいしく、滞在中に何度もリピートしました。おすすめです。
アイスコーヒーに使用されるアイスはコーヒーを凍らせたものです。安心して美味しいアイスコーヒーが飲めるカフェです。ツナサンドイッチも最高に美味しかったです！マスタードとの相性抜群です。

I don't usually give bad reviews but this was an embarrassing place to have drinks. The espresso they served (Rs. 300) was barely 15 ml, the virgin mojito (Rs. 700) was an overdone lemonade and we also ordered a fruit punch (Rs 750) which was just Real juice topped with few fruits.
The prices are also astronomical for the quality: they're comparable to 5 star hotels (No, the menu here on this app has risen about 20-25% on most items). We had an omelette that came with cheese, bacon bits and veggies. It was tasty, however, it could have been cooked a little longer for it was a bit runny for our liking. The toast was pretty plain and unremarkable. They have a very limited breakfast menu by the way. We found their Sindhupalchowk Coffee way too bitter and below average. It felt like the staff did not provide us with enough milk we needed/ asked for to counter the bitterness of the drink. We paid about 700 rupees for those two items. We felt the place was pricey for what it provides.

日本の純喫茶を思い出しました☺️
昔、母親が作ってくれた素朴なプリンって感じ。
店内は薄暗くてタバコの煙でモウモウとしている。まあこんな店もカトマンズにはあるんだなってことが体験できる。
雰囲気はいい感じです。
カトマンズの人気カフェ、Snowman Cafeに行ってきました。地元でも旅行者の間でも評判のお店で、特に有名なプリンを目当てに訪れました。懐かしさを感じる、やや固めのプリンで、日本人の口にもとても合います。店内はレトロで落ち着いた雰囲気があり、旅の合間にひと息つくのにぴったりの場所です。カトマンズで甘いものが恋しくなったら、ぜひ立ち寄ってみてほしいカフェです。

今回頼んだメニューは「カルダモンティー」と「クリームキャラメルプリン」です。
カルダモンティーは優しい甘さでしつこくなく、香りが良くとても美味しかったです。
クリームキャラメルプリンは割りとしっかりとした硬さがあります。
口に入れればクリームキャラメルの甘さと香りと玉子の味が口に広がり、カラメルの適度な苦味がそれを引き立ててとても美味しかったです。
ローカル色は濃いものの、このエリアのオススメのお店の１つだと思います。

プリンとミルクティーを頂きました。プリン🍮はそこそこかなぁ?まぁ120ルピーですから過剰な期待をしても厳しいですね。値打ちですが、特別でもないように思います。タバコの煙で煙たいのが一番印象に残っているかな。（笑）

It’s okay - the coffee is great and has light roast options. The space is like half in the stair well and overall kinda small. Definitely not a relaxing place to work. It’s also on the 2nd floor so that might not appeal to some people. The view is not anything special either. The building they are in isn’t that nice. I think you would do better in a different location. The manager is also very kind.
I was disappointed with the whole bean options being 1950npr for 200g - this is really expensive for Nepal (and globally) and the beans are also from Nepal which makes no sense to me why they are charging so much. I feel like they are only appealing to sell to foreigners, as they’re in a touristy location. The coffee tastes good but not worth the price when I know other places are half the price for still good light roast coffee.

Went to Deli Akuj to get breakfast after a run and it was so worth it. The pesto chicken and mushroom sandwich was amazing and the fries that came with it were also in house and fresh! Iam a regular here after gym. We would really appreciate if there was an option for almond or coconut milk and decaf coffee since half of us who follow strict diet and non caffeine diet have no options here.
Ordered avocado, grilled chicken and egg salad today. The salad was fine but wasn't worth the price. I don't want to give a bad review just yet because I believe the management will do the needful- either exchange the worst worst worst dark roast it sent me yesterday or refund me. Please take that horrible burnt coffee, it ruined my morning.
My first order last month was amazing, and as a coffee drinker I ordered it again, but this time they sent me medium dark roast twixe saying thats dark roast and finally they sent me a pack of italian roast yesterday. I was quite happy and peraonally called the ownwr/manager or whoever's number is listed on the website. But this morning when I made it, it turned out the beans were all burnt and it feels like drinking acid. If your roaster doesn't know how to do Italian roast, then you should have told me, i would have bought it elsewhere, but you can't rip people off - even if its unintentional- by sending them all burnt coffee that has no notes, no aroma. K gareko? Last month ko was amazing, i even told my friends that its the best you can get in nepal, but this month's..?
I want to make the owner and the roaster drink a cofee each from the beans they sent me and prove me wrong.
** I give the company 5 star on dealing with customer complaints. They refunded my money. I wish them success and i also hope they find a roaster who knows how to do Italian roast.
