First, I took forever to get our food. We waited 45 minutes for our appetizer and then another 30 for our main course. The roasted root vegetables were delicious, but had gone cold and the chowders texture was very interesting. You could tell it was the bottom of the barrel. Out chowder didn’t come with prawns for some reason but they gave us some on the side to make up for it which was quite nice and those tasted good. As our main meals we got the blackened salmon and lamb shank. The whole plate with salmon had a weird unpleasant lemony taste to it. The potato salad was edible, arugula barely edible and the salmon completely inedible. It was quite disgusting, I could only manage a couple bites. And this is coming from someone that usually clears her plate. The lamb shank was good but carrots were giant and still pretty raw so impossible to cut without making a mess. The presentation and atmosphere was nice but the quality of food and the time it took to get everything is not worth the price and means I will never be returning and advising others to try someplace else.
