Everything we ate was so so delicious and the portions very generous. My husband had incredible languistines, the best he has ever tasted. My Chicken pot pie was fantastic and a really large serving. We finished the night with a lovely cheese board and a whisky. The whole meal was delicious and beautifully presented and one of the tastiest we have had in years Special praise for Lori from Kilwinning, she is a diamond. From start to finish she made us feel so welcomed and really made our night. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to give her. 100% recommend this place and shout out to the very talented chef.

There’s no way this was all cooked fresh. Another guest commented that their ‘roast beef’ which was from the specials’ could have been a ‘boil in the bag’. My husband had scallops for starters which he enjoyed. I had goats cheese which looked like it had just come out of a packet you could buy at a supermarket and they had attempted to heat it up but it was only mildly heated around the edges. And they had just poured some balsamic vinegar on top. I regretted ordering this. The main course was okay but it’s pretty easy to make ‘hunters chicken’. The vegetables that came with this were tasteless. When you are ordering breakfast make sure you ask for toast. They will give you this automatically. The young gentleman wore jogging bottoms and a casual jumper when serving breakfast and checking us out at the front desk.
