We went for our anniversary and not only was the staff so attentive and aware in our celebrations but they brought us out a surprise dessert at the end to help us celebrate as well. I ordered the 6oz beef tenderloin. After trying both I’m glad I ordered the tenderloin. Because he’s a blue cheese fan he ordered the blue cheese fondue and loved it. I got the truffle herb butter to go with mine and loved that option. As far as sides go, my one must do is ORDER THE CREAMED CORN! I typically am not drawn this type of side but I was not disappointed. So good! The mashed potatoes weren’t my favorite but my husband really liked them. He got the wagyu and I got the 6oz beef tenderloin (I wish there were more smaller cuts, the 6oz was the only small cut). His was more firm but had more flavor. Mine was super soft and buttery tasting. Both are incredible, just depends on preference! We ordered the beef tallow fries, have never had better! We also ordered these sauces to go with our steaks: blue cheese fondue (it was ok), chimichurri (very good, my fave!), and the basalt signature sauce (it is a rich robust salty sauce. very good but very strong & masks the flavor of the natural steak which I didn’t prefer).
