We're in from out of state & staying on the NShore. We met up with 2 from E Bank & 2 from W Bank, (6 total) Good B'fast for all...my 1st time trying B'fast! We like WGxC so much, that after visiting with family, B4 heading to the NShore, we went back for supper! 2 bowls of Gumbo (chicken & seafood) served with potato salad & french bread...we also shared small onion rings. All was very good! Service also great! We highly recommend! I turned my friend from E Bank on to WGxC a couple of yrs ago & she stops in often when on the W Bank! Some of the best places to eat, in my opinion, are the smaller, low key places like WeGeaux Cafe...keep it up!!!😋

I had the crab cakes with a side of jambalaya and all I can say is they are the best crab cakes I have ever eaten. Full of flavour, the perfect crunch and boy were they huge so make sure you come on an empty stomach otherwise you’ll need a to go box like me.

Had a great meal at Segnette’s Landing! The fried catfish and crab cakes were delicious, and the drinks were also really good. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better.

It was a little rocky at first.
No one was in the front entrance, so we went to the back entrance. The server told us to go back to the front, and someone would help us. This lady showed up and started to help us and noticed a couple that she knew and proceeded to assist them instead of seating us first.

So Im a local. Ive been buying seafood at the shrimp lot next door for 20+ years and just never thought to go eat at Segnette Landing. One day a couple of weeks ago I decided to take my 7 month old son over there for lunch on a saturday to try it. The weather was nice so we sat out back overlooking bayou segnette harbor. We got some beers and a meatery board to start. The boudin and hogs head cheese were fantastic. Excellent! Then for my main course I got the catfish on a bed of crawfish etouffee and rice. Holy smokes was it good and despite the influx of tourist palates they werent afraid to spice it up right! This is proper south louisiana cousine. I highly recommend it. I may have just talked myself into going back for lunch today.

Really enjoyed the chips and salsa which were complimentary. The menu is pretty extensive. Prices are fair. Flavor wise, the other food ordered

Food was the best tacos ive ever had. The steak tacos are better than the chicken tacos and just 3 of them fill you up completely. I would have preferred less cilantro on my tacos but thats just a personal preference. The husband loved his chimichanga but was super stuffed. The food was a big letdown. The chicken fajita wrap had old veggies and barely any seasoning. The refried beans tasted like they came from a cheap can, and the tacos reminded me of Taco Bell not authentic at all. So we were looking for a different Mexican place to eat and came across this on Google. The reviews said that the food was great but the service was not. And I will say that is spot on. We loved the food and are planning to go back again. But the staff is not very competent. We ordered and they forgot items. We just missed the $1 street taco nights (can't beat that!) but had a very colorful, flavorful burrito. They were super about my gluten-free needs and made a lovely shrimp salad. My husband ordered two bacon cheese burgers well done for him and his brother with the vegetables on the side on toasted bread and it comes with fries. For the burgers, it came as a double meat patty, there was no bacon, no seasoning, no flavor. It was two thin gray patties like from a school cafeteria, that were not well done and the toast was just light bread not even toasted. For my tenders they were fresh and hot with pretty good flavor but the chicken was pink on the inside the fries for all three meals were soggy and had no salt. We ended up throwing $35 worth of food in the trash.

This was my go-to McDonald's for a few years. No more!!! I will find another McDonald's store to frequent.
On Dec 17 I purchased several items including a Big Breakfast with Hotcakes and Steak. I drove 3 miles home to find sausage and not steak. I immediately called and talked to the manager Lorraine. She told me to come back and she'd take care of it. I couldn't make it back on the 17th and told her I'd return the next day. I didn't plan on going back the next day, but they messed up my order and were willing to make it right.
I went back on the 18th, driving 3 miles out of my way thinking Lorraine was going to remake the whole Big Breakfast with Hotcakes and Steak. NOPE!!! I drove 3 miles out of my way and 3 miles back - 6 miles for a small piece of processed meat.
To not make it a wasted trip, I ended up placing an order and spending over $25 that I originally didn't plan on spending.
Lorraine, do you really expect valued customers to go out of their way to get only what you owe them - because you and your employees made a mistake???
To top it off... The replacement order that I had to pay for had 2 and 1/2 hotcakes. The bottom pancake was only part of one.
At least I thought I was a valued customer... I only patronized this store 3 to 4 times a week and spending $15 - $25 per visit, for approximately 4 years.
The Clearview/Elmwood store and the Jefferson Hwy/Causeway stores are a lot closer to my home in Bridge City.

Uber did not pay me for that order and the time I was there because the client had to cancel. The customer told me to wait there while she was on the phone with Uber trying to make sure that I didn’t get penalized for canceling the order and that she didn’t have to pay for the order since they said that someone stole her order. The restaurant near us closed and we happened to be near one so we ordered the thin pepperoni. We've been to this one before and it ran like a well oiled machine. Not this visit. It was...how do I describe it? Slow chaos? The young lady at the register decided it was more important to count her till rather than wait on customers standing there. I want to this location twice in less then 2 weeks. I was hesitant going the first time because of the bad reviews but I thought to myself, "Not everyone has a bad experience". DISGUSTING is the word I would use to describe the food at Little Chinese Kitchen. Chinese takeout is never cheap so most people have a level of expectation that comes with spending that much money on a meal. That being said, the expectation of quality and taste was not met on our visit here. The eggrolls are $1.50 which is reasonable for most - except that the eggroll was less than 2 inches long and fried in what could only be imagined as black sludge due to the darkness of the wonton wrapper. Our entrees were the lemon chicken and Szechuan chicken. The lemon sauce for the chicken was nothing to write home about but the Szechuan sauce was really disappointing; I don’t believe that a singular chili makes a dish “spicy” especially when I wanted a spicy Chinese dish and the sauce came across more sweet and Mongolian flavored vs Szechuan which was a real let down. And finally to top it off, their hot and sour soup, which is usually my favorite from every Chinese restaurant I’ve been to, was so diabolical that I could not swallow the one spoonful I subjected myself to; it was inedible. The staff was very friendly but the food is not worth it and, with plenty of other Chinese options available in the area, I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.
