That same trip I checked with the restaurant about what foods they might can make that didn't include my allergens and the employee immediately suggested a food that included one of my allergens. I left without lunch, but got a few groceries for cooking at home. I decided to give the restaurant another try today. After telling employees my allergens, they did try to help me find something and suggested a turkey sandwich - they even looked up the bread ingredients for me. I got it to go. When I got to work, I found it had mayonnaise. I called the store to ask if the mayonnaise contained corn or soy oil (because many do) and was told that it did contain vegetable oils and if I knew I couldn't eat some of those I shouldn't have ordered it.
