I came here to try their coffee because it’s a pretty popular spot, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I specifically asked for my flat white to be extra hot, but it was barely warm. My friend didn’t enjoy the hot chocolate either. On top of that, my cup wasn’t clean ,,there were stains on the bottom,, and the table we sat at still had crumbs from previous customers. The only positive thing was the friendly staff, they were kind.
Overall, if they paid more attention to cleanliness and customer requests, it could be a much better place. But sadly, it was messy enough that I wouldn’t want to come back.

Best independent coffee shop in the north west. The coffee and food is delicious; staff are friendly and there’s a great relaxed atmosphere. Had a superb early (7.30am) breakfast (porridge with seeds; peanut butter and blueberries) though loads of other toppings are available. The bagels are so good too. It’s been going for 25 years! Long may it continue. It richly deserves to. So go. Support it as a truly great independent.

Coffee Revolution review: A really cosy, intimate space that’s perfect for writing or just relaxing. We ordered two hot chocolates which came with complimentary whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate dusting and two sandwiches. Sandwiches were filling so you got your moneys worth. You’re asked what kind of bread you’d like, and can get recommendations from staff too. It’s table service so you can relax in the space whilst your food is being made. Because of the reasons mentioned, the space is very popular with yummy mummy’s, students and people that want somewhere to work so be fast if you want to get a table. The setting had a nice, rustic and relaxed feel. Down stairs was little draughty, wish there was a little heater. We had a lot of time before our train and this was a cute place to stop off, would visit again. We were warmly surprised!

A very friendly place with delicious coffee and a great atmosphere. There are outdoor picnic tables to sit at if you prefer as well as indoor seating plus there's a floor downstairs you can sit at too. They also offer a stamp card so you can get a free coffee once you've gotten 10 before. It's become one of my favourite places.

I've been coming here for seven years - can you believe it's already been that long! - since it opened. It's gone through a few growing pains in that time, and a few chefs to boot, but I have to say that they seem to have found their stride in general offering a great lunch spot in Huddersfield. It brings the vibe of a Leeds coffee house to Huddersfield. The drinks offerings are fantastic and as far as I know they try to support UK or local suppliers and growers.
My favourite place for a meat-free full English.
It can occasionally be a bit chilly in there if you're staying longer than an hour - I wonder if they would invest in better heating or blankets?
Service often top-notch, one or two front of house members really stand out in terms of how attentive they are and how well they look after you. Once you've been more than twice they're more than likely to remember you which is damn impressive because I'm willing to bet they have a lot of regulars at this point.
Regular seasonal menu reviews as far as I'm aware which keeps things fresh. Try their supper clubs for a special night out - if you're a foodie you'll love it.

It was a quiet morning so I was able to eat and drink and knit for a while. I had the mango oat and granola thingy which was ok but the mango was soooo sweet and gooyie. Too sweet. It would have been better with fresh mango . The salted caramel latte was the first I'd ever had as they had no hazelnut syrup. It was pretty disgusting to my taste but others may enjoy it. It's a taste thing. Again too sweet for me. I should have asked for less syrup. Staff were ok. I would go back again and try something different.

Every time I come back to Huddersfield I always make sure to visit Arcade. The food is delicious and they have many great vegetarian options, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and their hot chocolate is one of the best in the UK as it’s made with real chocolate. I cannot recommend this place enough it’s a lovely little independent eatery inside Byram Arcade.

Searched for a decent English Breakfast whilst staying in the area on a football trip and saw the Toby, didn't know they did breakfasts so gave it a try, so glad that I did.
Really good breakfast, but to top it off there were also potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with bits of bacon and onions mixed in, divine!
Excellent gravy too, and I'm not usually a fan of gravy unless I make it myself. Their eggs are spot on too.
Ran out of bacon, waited 5 minutes in the queue, but then went without it. However, they sorted it out by the next time I came around for a second helping - they were pretty busy.
Surprisingly not straightforward to find because the large sign on the main road is obscured by branches, and Google Sat Nat took me to the hotel nearby instead! Definitely get those branches cut!

Toby carvery was pretty good for an on the fly visit today. We had the carvery, with meats that were so succulent and juicy, it just fell apart in the mouth. Very tasty all around. The service was great. I'm in a wheelchair and they fit me somewhere really nicely, that still allowed me to move. The only real negative, was that the drier in the disabled loo didn't work and the seating (on the other side of the table to me) was absolutely cramped to the next table, making it tough for people to come and go for food etc on that side.

We were served by Ben, who was absolutely superb. He ensured we were looked after all throughout our meal. He checked in on us to make sure everything was ok with our meal & service and just overall fantastic!
Prices are very cheap for what you get, I paid around £5 for a chocolate brownie Sunday and it was definitely a sharer!
Food was brilliant of course as always, the turkey was cooked amazingly.
(Also a prompts to the chefs for keeping it professional while being shouted at by an extremely rude customer through the kitchen door! We all know It’s not easy working in hospitality).

Immediately after we left the pub, I was ready to give it a 1 star review. My wife, son, and I went there before the Stereophonic’s gig at the JS Stadium on Saturday 14th. The pub was overrun and didn’t seem to have enough staff on to handle such a busy day. Queues at the bar were approx 20-30 minutes, and it was the same for ordering drinks via the app. First impressions were very poor.
My wife tried to order food and the app kept freezing at the point of payment. This happened a few times, so I ordered on my phone and the order went through. Food arrived and was good. We agree with the previous positive reviews. This place is excellent and quite unusual. It is effectively a house which has been converted to make use of all the rooms as dining rooms. The food, a take on the Tapas idea, is very tasty and the staff personable and attentive. Prices are reasonable too. We were able to eat in our own dinning room which meant our dogs were off the lead and comfortable, without being an annoyance to any non-dog lovers. They were also welcomed with fabulous dog treats! I was waiting at the counter for my order to be completed (I hadn’t received my egg and mushroom sandwich yet) but the girl serving me accused me of having taken it already. I arrived at this McDonald’s around 9:45pm. Although they’re usually open 24/7, there was a sign saying they were closing at 10pm. I tried to order at the drive-thru but got no response, so I parked up to check if the store was open—it wasn’t.
On my way back to the car, I saw other people being served at the drive-thru. I asked a staff member if I could order just some nuggets, but he said I needed to be in a vehicle. I explained I had already tried, and he told me to drive around again.

Last weekend I hired out the cafe as a venue for my breakfast with santa event. Lovley place was the perfect size for my event we had 60 people booked in across 2 morning sessions.
The owners really went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly for me.

We were travelling through and decided to stop for food while we had some time. Took a chance and landed here, and we were both very happy that we did.
It is a lovely little cafe, perfect for that early morning start. Very good value for money and good portion sizes, was greeted with a smile as we came in and immediately felt welcome.

Last cheat day today, so went to try out the new famous Cafe2one3 today in Bradley.
Absolutely beautiful breakfast and trust me i am very picky with the places i eat. There was no grease to be found on my plate.
My poched eggs were poching, gooey just how I like them.
