The manager must have a very odd restroom policy in place. In every other location I’ve been to, you ask the staff for the code & they give it to you. The poor guy I walked in on, he was in shock & humiliated! While all this is happening my partner observes this poor older gentleman also trying to use the bathroom but he can’t get up fast enough from his chair to beat people trying to get the code, & then jumping back in bathroom line. This was taking the bathroom code to an extreme, both with trying to get in it in the first place & then with trying to beat an unknown timer while finally utilizing it. I have no idea how they can lawfully have such a short timer as there are people with disabilities who would need more time to use the restroom with an attendant. Plus for older people too! I was so disgusted with this experience I walked out without ordering as I had planned and my partner walked out & we went elsewhere for coffee for me & a bathroom for him. We make a point to stop at Starbucks as we travel, as they normally have a clean bathroom & the coffee is consistent. We will never stop here again & will go elsewhere.
