If you are going to buy biscuit packs for your friends and family, please dont. Problem 1: each packet will say date of packaging as todays date which sounds good but the biscuits inside the cardboard box are in another independent packaging. So there is no brainer how all packets are fresh. Also taste of packet biscuit and fresh counter biscuit has 100x difference. So definitely they are cheating customers.
Problem 2: even if you need to takeaway those pre packaged biscuits, there is no guarantee that biscuits are same as shown on display. I bought oats and raisins, and got some kaju biscuit. Totally disappointed.
This shop is only good for dine in or buy fresh biscuits from the counter.

I ordered Motichoor Ladoo from Karachi Bakery via Blinkit for a Pooja, and to my utter shock, the sweets were covered with fungus. This was supposed to be for a religious offering, and finding it in such a horrible condition was extremely upsetting and disappointing.
I always trusted Karachi Bakery for quality and freshness, but this experience shows a complete lack of quality control and hygiene. Selling stale and fungus-infected sweets is not only careless but also dangerous for health.

We reached there around 10:30am and it was very hot inside the bakery. Moreover, they were cleaning the ceiling and there are only 3-4 tables. You don’t get to buy single piece of any of their biscuits. So one has to buy the entire packet and we found it costly. However,on request they give you sample of cookies(1/4 piece) to taste. Some of the biscuit packets were freshly made and packed. The most shocking thing for me was a man in the bakery with a box of dairy milk chocolates and he asked every customer to give them 5* review and in return one will get chocolate. We refused to do that. 125 years old bakery doesn’t need to do such thing.

Last night, had a very fulfilling and soul-pleasing dinner at Van Lavino, Nallagandla.
The restaurant scene at Nallagandla is bustling with choices; there are new entrants almost every week, and the place is now hot-bed for restaurant incubation.
Yesterday, after a movie at a nearby mall, was searching for a place to dine in, and Van Lavino stuck out.
We were seated promptly upon entering, and served the menu. Though there were water bottles placed at each table, the waiter asked us whether we would like to have regular water or not. Not only that, he also proactively refilled our glasses several times, without asking. These small gestures, IMHO, are the things that create a lasting impression, and parts of a good service package.
We had--
1. Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders-- it was excellent. The portion size was super too (4 big pieces of fried chicken tenders).
In fact, all of their food dishes have big portion sizes (information gathered from own experience and curiously looking at other tables 😁😁).
2. Lebanese Chicken on Hummus served with Pita Bread-- it was decent. Hummus was bang on, pita bread was soft. I would have liked the chicken a bit more spicy, but that's just my personal preference.
3. Irish Frappe-- Great coffee. Had a very nice aroma.
4. Newyork Cheese Cake-- Excellent (though I personally would have liked a thicker layer of biscuit at base).
The bill for all of these (each 1 portion) came to 1500+. They levy a service charge, which we were happy to pay.
This is my first visit to any Van Lavino outlet, and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and their top-notch service.
The service part needs a special mention as the waiter--
1. Proactively refilled water several times, without asking
2. Proactively came to our table a few times to ask if everything was alright, or if we needed anything
3. At one point, removed the menus from our table (due to space constraint); but before that he informed us the reason and also had given us assurance that he and the menus- both are just a call away
4. Apologised profusely for a slight delay in bringing the food (we didn’t even notice the delay)

But food is pretty fastly served, felt fresh and tasted good. Didn't click all the pictures but good menu and very well served. Absolutely loved the pita bread and humus.
They also have parking space so it makes easy on park your vehicle on a busy road.
