Personally, I think Salad Beach is one of the best on either side of Koh Phangan. Facility: Super clean and spacious villa/bungalow — ours felt newly renovated so i cant speak for the other villa’s. We had three beds, a large bathroom with a great shower, lots of space, a small kitchen with cutlery, plates, fridge, and a lovely balcony. The separate sinc and toilet/shower was nice being several people. The air conditioning worked well, and the beds were very comfortable. Best of all, the villas are directly connected to the beach and beach bars serving coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was amazing to just crawl back to the balcony when the rain hit! Wifi was sometimes a bit off, but they have plenty off routers/wifi so just ask for the other passwords. We could stream movies almost all the time just switching.
