Only popped in for 2-4-1 cocktails before going for dinner with friends but music was good & comfortable seating. Karoke was a no no but after a few more rounds of cocktails we entertained it. Place was very quiet on a Thursday night but we didn't mind. Decided to stay all night& although no food was being served they allowed us to get delivery from noodle nation which was great. Frequented the Snug many times, always a good night. Staff were so friendly.

Went to order and it seemed like we were causing the barman inconvenience. They didn’t have ingredients for our order which was fine. We’d order something else and we did. Went to reorder and they had run out of one of the ingredients so we said no problem, we’ll have it without. This took some time as he did not have enough to make the full amount and had a discussion with another bartender about the shopping they needed but he said, hold on, I’ll see if I can make it with this. It didn’t work as he couldn’t pour it so the lady went next door to get milk. On her return, he whizzed up some milk and ice cream to make up the shortfall. He then poured honeycomb over the top which we had asked him to leave off. He asked me if I wanted a spoon to fish it off and decided he was going to do it. He did and handed it back to me with a shortfall in the glass but that was probably because it was all slopping down the sides. Unfortunate as the last time the woman served us and she couldn’t have been more friendly and professional.
My friend felt that it was an inconvenience to order drinks at all.

This cocktail bar is definitely worth a visit if in High Wycombe. The selection of cocktails they have are brilliant. If I remember they have an online menu to which you can check out, though they were slightly different to when we were physically there. At the time of writing this this I had been a few days prior, and they have a 2 for 1 promotion on selected cocktails. We had the Shark Week which was delicious! You had to get two of the same which is standard. We also ordered 3 shots for £10. These weren't your generic shots either, they were really nice interesting mixed shots. We has the raspberry lemon drop I think it was called, and I had ordered one extra (as the deal was 3 of the same shots for £10) which was one I would rather not write down here (some might know what special shot I'm referring too) and it was great. Bar staff were great, very pleasant and upbeat, and when we left and said goodbye, they told us to keep hydrated which is always a good touch. Wish I could the barmans name that night, but thanks for doing my big drink request without anything but a smile :)
My only word of warning to people is that the venue is a little small so later in the evening, it can get a little packed. Otherwise a great bar which I definitely will be returning too!

Had the best experience since I've been in England. I forgot to ask her name, but the server I had was so nice and easy to have a chat with. Would definitely recommend this pub. Pricea are okay and drink options are good. Seated area outside reasonable size with heat lamps. Toilets are usually clean and working. Usually some good entertainment going on. Pool table available.
Its not a 5 star rating because inside smells like they use the same mop that they wipe vomit up with to wipe the rest of the pub as well. They also offer cocktails on certain events but clearly staff arent trained in the art of cocktail making. Also, its hard to find a quiet time at this pub. You cant meet friends here to socialise because you wont be able to hear each other over the kareoke, sports, drag act, quiz, or DJ.

Surprisingly really good meal!
For a chain we didn't expect much, however the food tasted good and came with a good price.
Compared to other food places in the area this one is worth going to.
We visited BlueGrass (nextdoor to it) last week and we're disappointed, so to find that O'Neill's do similar food much better was a nice surprise.
I opted for the Halloumi burger with sweet potato fries which went down well, whilst in the party we also ordered the wings, beer battered mushrooms (which were really nice) and fiery fries.
All tasted good and no real complaints.

Another Wetherspoons I've previous been to but didn't review.
A medium sized branch in the middle of High Wycombe Town Centre. Now the only branch in High Wycombe after the William Robert Loosely closed a few years ago.
A short walk from Eden Shopping Centre/Bus Station and the Train Station.
Pub was not overly busy when I visited. Although trade did pick up during my visit.
Ordered a Vegetarian Breakfast and a pint of Stowford Press and Blackcurrant. Total cost £7.38.
The pint arrived within about a minute of ordering, with the Breakfast arriving in about 8 minutes. However, the sausages were missing, as per the image. Had to chase the server for them. Although to be fair, they did arrive within a few minutes of asking.
Breakfast was of good presentation but lukewarm.
Despite the minor hiccups, still one of the cheapest places for food and drink in High Wycombe.

Went here for some breakfast as was craving a spoons English breakfast. I ordered the large trad breakfast. Toast was a little too burnt for my liking but was still soft so was still edible. The bacon could have been cooked just for a couple minutes longer but was very tasty either way. My only issue was my child’s breakfast, he had wanted pancakes (which is what he got) but they were so hard, I couldn’t even cut them for him. He managed a couple of the softer bits of it, but ultimately he shared my breakfast with me as that’s what he was happy with. Coffee was delicious as always and such a great price for it being bottomless! Atmosphere of the place is what you’d typically expect of a spoons but was a decent breakfast nonetheless, apart from the rock hard pancakes☹️

I really enjoyed my meal at Heidrun. The food was tasty, service was great and friendly and prices were reasonable. A friend and I both ordered the hallomi burger and they were both cooked so well, and were good portion sizes. The hallomi was grilled to perfection and the fries were amazing!

Met up with a friend to watch the football and have a catch up. The service provided by Shamack and his colleague was exceptional. We only intended staying for a couple of beers before moving on to the next place, but the service provided and overall setting meant that we decided to stay for food and the rest of the evening.

Brilliant place with a real family feel. Quiz nights, poker and karaoke all give something to do and it's always an entertaining experience. I've made new friends and also discovered family I didn't know about since starting to come here. The staff are friendly and always welcoming. This is like waking into a pub 20 years ago without the smoke but with all of the atmosphere and frivolity it used to have. There aren’t many places like this left and we treasure this place and the decor although clean and tidy is like the old days. That’s a good thing.
Staff are always so friendly and the food is good value and served quickly. There are no frills to this place but there doesn’t need to be. A fabulous place for a bite to eat, a catch up and a nice drink. The wood burning stove was lit tonight and was just perfect as the weather had turned cold today.

Absolutely love this little pub, it’s just down the road from my workplace so we come here often for lunches and drinks after work. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and there’s a good atmosphere. The garden is lovely in the summer and definitely worth a visit. Drinks are reasonably priced and their food is great value for money and always really tasty. They currently have salt and pepper chicken in bbq sauce on their specials which I would definitely recommend. At the start, the drinks were a bit slow but soon they got quicker as they were being much more attentive and friendly. I write this review based solely on our last visit. We visited about 8 days ago for drinks only. To be fair the bar was extremely busy - but there was space and we ordered a wine and a beer. After 45 minutes we had not received our drinks and so we asked. We were told they were coming. Another 15 minutes and we chased again and this time brought the drinks back from the bar ourselves. My husband didn't get the full beer he ordered it was finally mixed with an Italian lager as the Spanish lager ran out halfway through pouring; I was given a warm glass of white wine. When I went the the bar to ask for a small amount of ice - the female service -(in a somewhat irritated fashion) took my glass and put a full scoop of ice (as you would in a cocktail) in my glass - thus rendering the wine not drinkable. We understand that bars get busy - but there is no excuse for poor service and rudeness. If the staff had told us we wouldn't be able to get a drink for an hour - then we could have made other choices. In the past we have enjoyed both the food, the drink and the serivce in the Merletto Lounge. We are local but at the present time would hesitate to give our custom here again.

Just to make anyone aware there are VIP SECTIONS where you have security around so you can enjoy in your enjoyment.
Talking about SECURITY. These guys are really professional and they are always roaming around making sure everything is ok and a Big thumbs up to all the security. All the Bars the staff were very busy but maintaining professional standards despite the hectic schedule. Working in a Bar can be very stressful and I have experience myself working around town running the pubs so to see such choreographed efforts from all staff members is an awe to admire.
Toilets were maintained well in that busy environment and you can also get some perfumes don’t forget a tip as them people are cleaning the toilets.
OVERALL OVERVIEW REVIEW-
This place is a great venue for all age groups and let’s shut down the notion it’s for young ones as the selection of different bars makes the interactions so great so for me I didn’t feel out of place and can highly recommend anyone pay a visit as usually always packed Fridays and Sartudays so go check their website on upcoming events.
I will also give a 5 star to the Manager for listening to my review and taking action promptly.

I love this place. Unlike most pubs around where food is the priority, this one offers a relaxed and welcoming environment to socialise and make new friends. The staff are friendly and service is always quick. There's lots of inside seating and the garden is amazing with an outside bar and 4 big seating pods that all have heaters and TV's to watch the football. My husband has been attending this pub for 3+ years for football matches. Today he was watching the Liverpool derby in the pub, as Liverpool scored on the 95th minute he as a normal football supporter got excited and shouted “yess come on” as he has done on every game he’s watched and Liverpool has scored! We had the upstairs function room for a wake and couldn't have picked a better place. Staff were lovely, plenty of space available. We were able to set up our own music/screen for pictures, took our own food and the drinks are fairly priced. Matt, Eve, Lilly and the whole team did an outstanding job decorating and preparing It, including balloons, music and microphones! The Naan bread had the right mixture of flakiness, crispness and succulence. The curries are exceptionally flavourful.

Attentive service from the landlord and really nice staff, the Sunday roast beef and yorkshire came with lots of perfectly-cooked veg* and nice gravy. Incredible standard for a very reasonable price. What’s not to like about a Sunday roast? And at our local pub too, this was wonderful.
The server that looked after us, made sure we were comfortable, checking in with us from time to time to see if we required anything.
I did need some cutlery, as there wasn’t any when I sat down, whereas everyone else in our party had theirs. That was only minor though, and she was very apologetic.
As for the meal, I had the lamb, which was succulent, and easy to slice with a knife.
Yorkshire pudding, the size of my head. Can’t go wrong with that.
Wish I had a dessert, next time I will.
Upon leaving, we noticed the sign outside for ‘Burger Night Wednesdays’ - so you know I’m up for that.

Went for lunch with my little boy & mother in law.
Staff were amazing & very friendly. The lady serving & the man who was cooking were super friendly & spoke to us the entire time. Made us feel super welcome.
Food was delicious. We both ordered full English, & it was amazing. Little one had fish fingers & chips, it was a very large portion.
Just 1 suggestion for the kids meals, maybe do a "bigger kids" selection & a "toddler/little kids" selection (which would be a smaller portion size), as little kiddies don't eat as much as the bigger ones & I really don't like to waste food.
