This is my second visit to this place and honestly I recommend it the coffee and desserts are amazing!
and the atmosphere and service are great too,
I tried their food and it was just okay to me it was too oily i tried FATAH WITH TAOOQ ،
and the croissant didn’t have much flavor except for the jam..
As for the tiramisu I’d rate it 4/5 because it wasn’t too sweet which I actually liked..
I’d definitely visit again for the coffee and dessert!

Great meal at Vegan Lab, it’s a varied menu, probably good to check what’s available before you set your heart on what you want as there’s things they often don’t have. But that comes with the territory!
I was in a group and we all got a different protein bowl, all 3 looked amazing. I loved the meatballs, they tasted homemade and I was impressed at the presentation and variety of ingredients.
Compared to other places in Dahab this is definitely a costly meal, however it was worth it and I wish I could afford to eat here more often! Will be back next time, and would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet vibe. The guys working were so nice and made everything fresh to order. We had the poke bowl and the tacos. Both were delicious and huge portions! We had to take the tacos to go because we were too full. We ordered two juices too which were fresh and healthy. Service could be improved and outside seating unavoidably comes with the downsides of Egyptian traffic (repetitive honking). But for any vegetarian or vegan in Dahab this is a must visit. We found this 4-in-1 place by chance - a cafe/restaurant/co-working space/diving-windsurfing & kite surfing center. A German owner, Patrick, is so friendly and such a unique character. We kept coming back 3 days in a row because the food was so tasty and everything was reasonably priced. The location is great, a nice change from the crowded cafes by the sea.The restaurant is also very cozy, with the quieter space upstairs. We sat downstairs twice, and upstairs when it was too hot and we needed some good AC. I know it also offers good WiFi but we didn't try to be honest. Also, if you love dogs, Patrick has 3 lovely dogs just lounging about.
I 100% recommend this place for a tasty, clean & fresh breakfast and really good coffee too! Not to forget the honey & banana pancakes! Yum! Thank you Patrick & Ashraf!

I have been coming to Mojo over the past month. This is the place with probably the best internet you can get around in terms of speed and unlimited volume. Pancakes were fabulous, coffee and shake also quite good but served in small glasses. The egg Benedict was basically the only proper egg Benedict i’ve ever had in Egypt and the salad menu is all aces. Breakfast at Shanti was on top of our list for when we return to Dahab. Our last visit was in January 2024 and that’s when we fell in love with this place. Just full of the right energy, amazing coffee, zen.
This time things have changed. While I love the outdoor extension (and the clean toilet deserves a special mention too) I can’t omit mentioning that smoking in an indoor environment is just not cool. Or healthy. I can’t come with my kids anymore and personally I’m a bit sad that now plastic straws are being served instead of the reusable ones I remember from our last visit. I can only assume that people kept stealing them and that’s why this changed?
Anyway, the smoking is a big no no which meant that during our 6 week stay in Dahab we could only come to shanti once. Maybe it will be better again in winter when sitting outside is pleasant (or people stop smoking indoors)

Shams restaurant is good spot in terms of location, atmosphere and staff. I tried the Lentil soup, it was perfect with a squeeze of lemon. However the food I had wasn’t that good, but the staff were extremely supportive. They tried to fix the cooking problem, then offered to cancel the order and not to pay as I wasn’t satisfied.
